How i can grow a website ?

Hello everybody !
I had a website like 9GAG[dot]com , now i want to have many traffic, user post, share funny picture or video....like 9GAG
What must i do ?

    You can buy yourself an AD on a popular website. Maybe a Banner type ad, or pay someone with a similar niche to send a solo ad for you.

    To grow your website same rules apply, you market yourself on forums, you can blog good original information on your already existing website, or you can post on a relevant existing website with traffic through comments or as a guest poster and you can direct that traffic to your blog or landing page. Either way you look at it, it takes work. If you are using paid traffic, and directing it to a blog you are making a mistake, always try and build your list.

    Since you are in the type of niche that tends to go viral you need to advertise yourself heavily on social media.

    I personally follow 9GAG in Facebook and Instagram and I believe those are the most 2 powerful social media sites to advertise your website.

    Create a Facebook Fan Page and a Instagram account and start to upload content several times a day because people like to use their time to watch entertaining things.

    You can do FB paid likes and this will boost your traffic heavily because people tend to like and share those types of posts.

    I would suggest that since you are in a viral niche start investing in FB ads to get likes and then when you have a following focus on getting engagement.

    After doing this and posting the link to your site in FB and Instagram you will start to get traffic.

    With a site like that you need to get some buzz through social media and really put that site out there. Build up some social media accounts and heavily promote your site on these sites.

    After running your site, you will have to so some SEO work. You should choose the do-follow link instead of the no-follow link. Because the Do-follow link will increase your Page rank & traffic at the same time, while the no-follow link will increase your site traffic only.

    If you have money then invest in Bind/Yahoo/Adwords/FB ads

    If you're doing free than there are many avenues to work with but because it's free, it will also take longer and be harder to pull in traffic (obviously).

        You can think of an interesting idea for an article, post, gig, image.. whatever it is that might interest websites like reddit, buzzfeed, collegehumor or others. Locate their writers/posters and try to connect them personally. If you have a great idea they might go ahead and publish it.. and you get exposure. not to mention you might even earn a link.

    Start by setting up social network campaigns to get traffic. I really recommend you to use tumblr to generate traffic, get back links, and to share your content exponentially.

    Since you will be sharing funny videos and photos they will definitely get a lot of likes and shares!

    Start with free traffic techniques and then you can use paid traffic techniques such as Facebook PPC to get more targeted leads.

    If I would be in your position I would target younger people such as teenagers because they are the ones that spend more time searching for this type of content.

    My advise is to focus heavily on Social Networks. You can use the slow traffic methods and post on these social networks or use the faster paid method on these same social networks (where applicable) to promote your site.

    Do you want to drive free traffic or paid traffic to your website?

    I'm assuming the contents of your website would attract good traffic from Facebook. You could create a FB page for your site (as well as Instagram and Pinterest ) to post the funny pictures and other interesting contents, and link them to your site.
