Hi , I want to start a blog with this niches : weight loss, weight loss diets ...
I want to hire freelancers to write articles for me , but I saw some search results on google . Some websites that are selling PLR articles about weight loss .
Now I have 3 questions ,
1- What is PLR ? What does it mean ?
2- They are selling article packages , So if I buy an article package can I post those articles to my blog ?
3- What if someone else buy those articles too ? and post those articles to their websites ? so it will be duplicate content ?

That depends on the terms of sale when you buy it.

Some PLR (generally the worst, I think) has no restrictions at all. A lot requires you to re-write it before publishing, and that's typically a better thing to do anyway. But there could be exceptions. There'd be nothing wrong with using good-quality PLR unamended as part of your site's content, if the terms of sale allow that. It's the same, in effect, as re-publishing good-quality articles from Ezine Articles, and that's certainly a very well-established and widely-used free-content-gathering method.

    No.

It would be "syndicated content", not "duplicate content". (Just like the content that so many of the world's leading news and sports websites publish, among others.)

The difference between the two is explained here.

    PLR = Private Label Rights

It means you own the rights to use, change and publish the content as your own. It is better to rewrite it before publishing as your own.

Yes, you can put them on your blog, in an ebook, on a video, whatever you want.

You need to check the rights you get when you buy but if it is PLR they are usually pretty open to what you can do.

If you are finding the PLR articles in "article packs" and on sites from Google search then the chances are it will be well used content. So they will have already been published hundreds of times by hundreds of people.

It isn't duplicate content the way Google thinks of duplicate content that can harm SEO. But it is low value content that will hurt your visitors' experience and devalue your site in Google.

If you want to use PLR articles here is some advice:

    1) Use the most recent, best quality PLR you can find. That means looking in the WSO section for fresh packages and looking for Warriors who write and publish PLR.

    2) Rewrite for your own needs. You should rewrite PLR if you plan on using it as your content. Not for the Google penalty, but so they are in your "voice", they target your keywords, etc.

    3) Convert to other formats. Take an article and convert to a video, or PowerPoint presentation. This lets you publish content on different platforms like Scribd and YouTube.
