Problem with GetResponse

Hello everyone,

I lately set up a squeeze page. After the first few opt-ins, I noticed that I received money, but no subscribers to my list. How is this possible? I have set up an e-mail opt-in box on my squeeze page (connected to GetResponse) and after people opt-in, they should usually be added to my list immediately, right? Or does this take some time?

Any help appreciated.

    Did you test your funnel and autoresponder series with your own email to make sure everything works?

    Could the money be from one of the first few opt-ins and not new ones? Sometimes people return to the OTO page directly if they have opted in earlier and later decide to buy.

    Not enough detail from you for any more speculation by me.

      Yes I tested it and it worked. Then after the first few conversions but with no new subscriber, I tried another of my e-mail addresses again just to see. But: no result. Wasn't added to the list with my other e-mail.

      I have a one time offer, no OTO. The subscriber simply goes to a thank you page and can then go to the product itself.

    Haven't had any trouble with it, I'd suggest submitting a support ticket.

      Yes I think I will just contact support. I have never really had trouble with this before, either, just somehow doesn't want to work now.

    Are people unsubscribing from you list immediately, and perhaps a more telling sign is whether you have double opt-in turned on (it is by default). If the visitor converts, but then does not confirm their opt-in then this seems to be the situation.

    Do you have any experience with Aweber or have tried them?

    If your problems persist and you find you're still frustrated, I'd try switching companies.

    I personally haven't tried Getresponse or mailchimp but I'm pretty content with Aweber.

    Hopefully it all works out for you and your issue gets resolved
