Need help with teespring.

So I had a designer create two designs for me and whenever I upload them they come out as actual t-shirts and I tried cutting out the words in the t-shirts and placing them on there but it doesn't work. Anyone???

What sort of file did the designer provide you? If it's a Photoshop file with multiple layers, you can hide the layers that contain the shirt and the background and save it before uploading it to Teespring.

If the shirt and design are all on a single layer, you need to get with the designer and request the actual .psd file or at least a .png or .eps file with the background removed.

Shouldn't your designer be doing this?

If he did not design according to your requirements he should be able to fix it quickly.

If he does not then I would give negative feedback and review and complain to the provider.

You should not be learning how to do this stuff. That's why you hired the designer in the first place.

I also don't know how things turn into "actual t-shirts" when you upload them. Your upload should be a digital file, not an actual shirt. Most designs need to be physically printed on material to turn into actual t-shirts so it is not 100% clear what your problem is.

I assume he put the design on a t-shirt silhouette and you do not want the silhouette showing when you upload.

If you have a PNG then you are screwed because you do not have access to the layers. He needs to send you the PSD files or do the fix himself.

You can't do what you want to do with a PNG without so much work-around crap you may as well not used the designer in the first place.

If this was a fiverr designer, they may charge extra gigs for the editable file. Still...I'd be pushing to get a file I could actually work with, even if it did cost an extra gig or two.

If you are pressed for time and can't get your designer to do it, do this.

1.) Download the free GIMP at GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

(if you have GIMP questions, GIMP Forum is a free forum to find answers)

2.) Open the PNG file in there.

3.) Erase what you want to

    might help

4.) Add what you want to

    might help

5.) Save the output as a .png and see if that works.

    Hope that helps!
