This question is for people who have done launches before not just people who predict it will be a cool time.

What is the best time to launch a product(ignoring ALL competition)?
And by best time I mean which day of the week and at what time, please let me know
Thanks!

Anytime your product is ready, and you're not rushing anything to make an unrealistic deadline. Build relationships with jv's and it won't matter when you launch.

My product has been ready since a few days now, and I don't believe I should release it on a random day.
For example, I've heard Mondays get the least traffic so it's worse to launch at that time

Like almost anything else, it's going to be largely dependant on a ton of factors.

That being said, take a look at your target audience and learn their habits. That'll reveal your answer to you.

The best time to launch your product is when its done. Theres no "perfect" time or date. Get your product out there, dont procrastinate, waste time or let perfectionism holding you back.

      Is it ready?

      Get it out now!

It won't matter when you launch your product or website or blog. The important thing is that this object or service of interest is ready, that it has some quality content that you can promote.

The world will know of your website or product sooner or later, if you can promote it correctly!

      Hope this helps...

You're both incorrect, I've found that February 29th is the best time, so I guess if you want to launch at the best time, you have to wait 2 years between each launch.

    Hi Joe,

The best time to launch a product is when everything is perfect - including the product, building the buzz, letting the community know and JV partners.

There really is no perfect time of day or day of the week.

If you have a quality product, and you have build up the buzz with your niche enough, then it will do well.

This launch time thing is silly. Release it when it's ready. I've had great success on Monday, contrary to what some say. Silly, silly, silly. Stick with the Nike motto:

    Just Do It!

    Hey Joe,
I haven't tested any different days, however I have had great results running a pre-launch from a Sunday till Tuesday the week after.

    E.g. 26 Oct to 4th Nov

Then Opening up the cart on that Tuesday at 8pm Eastern time and closing on the following Tuesday at midnight.

This is only what I have done and as you can see there are many ways to do it and all work fine!

    Cheers!

Statistically speaking ( and im not kidding ) its going to be a Tuesday or a Wednesday right after the first of the month. ( But I have found that Monday isn't bad ) For the Month of November, that would be the 3rd 4th or 5th.

So to dispel the ha ha ha it doesn't make a difference folks... why does new music come out at the end of the week? and is "In Stores now" on Fridays afternoons? Game releases tend to be on Fridays (don't believe me here is a calendar of game releases this month. GAME - New Release Calendar 2014 ) I think there are 3 in total for the month that do not fall on a Friday, and the are on the Tuesday.

As was mentioned the "Busiest day" on the net is Tuesday or Wednesday. If the purchase is a bit larger, you want to release AFTER the 1st BECAUSE people have their budget sorted and made it past last months bills and are not yet concerned with next months.

A good real world example of this is "Truck Month" that both Ford and Chevy does, they push real hard the first week and again the last week of the month. They tend to pick months to do this that start over the weekend as in say August this year was "Truck month" for both, because the 1st fell on a FRIDAY. ( I believe the first one this year was in March,1st fell on a Saturday - that was Chevy's and fords was in May the 1st fell on Thursday)

Fridays are more for "Physical" releases due to having the time all weekend to play them, as well as Friday being a paydays. The 1st and 15th is a payday to about 20% of Americans, which is a pretty decent number considering...

So as much as this is ha ha funny, there is without question a science to this... I can give way more examples if you like.

Then you should have no problem providing a definitive answer to the OP:

And by best time I mean which day of the week and at what time, please let me know
the "Busiest day" on the net is Tuesday or Wednesday.
Not in the MMO niche. Wednesday has become my "regular" day off because it's by far the slowest. Monday, Thursday and Sundays are busiest for me.

The last two MMO launches I participated in were launched on a Thursday and Sunday noon PST.

You need to build hype on your email list and social networks way before you launch to get people ready, at least a couple weeks, maybe more than that. If you don't hype the launch then you are going to waste that golden window when your product is fresh. People love new products. Get them ready before hand and then when you have sufficient enthusiasm built to the point where people are talking about it, then launch the product.

I think that the best time to do a launch, especially in the make money online niche, is when January comes.

People are right after the holiday season and are really looking for a way to make money online to pay off some of their new debt from the holidays.

Have people review your product first. When they are done, you launch.

No one is taking into account...

    1. Launch Competition. Yeah, it's true then some days are more "Busier" but that just means more competition right? Check out th WSO section for example... Depending on when you make your thread live, you can end up on page 2 in just a few hours.

    2. Affiliate support! You need to know when your affiliates can support you and launch it around their calendar.

The best time to launch is when the countdown timer reaches zero

Jokes aside, timing is everything (other than content and presentation).

I invite you to use your brain and think for yourself based on the product you are launching.

Different products are best launched at different times. There is little point selling ice-creams in the winter.

If your product takes advantage of a gap that has just opened up in the market - launch straight away. If the product is "anytime" like a high-ticket IM course then it's best to set a launch date for a few months away then spend two months building the hype and getting affiliates on side.

I hope I answered your question,
    Peace, bless, love,
    Skolr

If you already have your JVs and affiliates on board the launch date shouldn't matter, especially if you plan pre launch announcements and Early bird entries etc.

However as a general rule I persoanlly orefer Tuesdays in my niche. Saturdays and Sundays are a no-no....but that's just me and my niche.
