    First I would say no matter what niche and what you do to find ways to provide value to people.

    As Zig Ziglar said, "`You can have everything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what they want."

    Secondly no matter what niche you are in, build a list of hungry & responsive buyers.
    Then you can offer them quality products with your affiliate links mixed in with your valuable content.

      Good answer I want to add make sure that there is money to be made in your niche as well

      If its the pet niche there is a ton of money to be made but it is also competitive but that does not mean that you cannot get your share of the pie

      I would dig into a deep subniche of the pet niche and try to dominate.

    You've already chosen the niche, so the next step would obviously be a robust marketing plan that links your traffic source to your money site. The question is a bit generalistic because there are so many variables in there like what traffic source would you prefer - paid or free? What would be your monetization methods like CPA, affiliate, service selling and adsense etc...
