Resident of Missouri but I want to affiliate for Amazon

Im a resident of Missouri and I'm not able to participate as an affiliate for Amazon.

Surely there is some way around this.

Do I need to incorporate in a state that can participate. Do I need to setup an account on Amazon and give them an address of a relative in a state that can participate?

Will they be watching what IP's I access my account from or the address on my credit card? Will they send checks to a different address or deposit the money in a bank in a state that can not participate or will I have to establish an account in a state that can partitipate?

Thanks in advance for any information that will help me figure this out.

PO box just across the border might be good enough. If I was in your position that is what I'd do. Actually, if I was in your position I'd question myself as to why I'd want to earn a few cents per sale when I could use another sponsor and make a lot more dough. They are good for some stuff, no doubt about that, but they pay soooooooooooooo very little that you need a huge volume to make it worthwhile.

Thanks Rich for the info and the advice. I appreciate it.

I'm a programmer hoping to use their api to create a few stores. Maybe it's a bad idea.

      Just researching at this point.

Missouri will likely drop the bill that is disqualifying affiliates.

You can use any mail forwarding service out there, that would work just fine.
