WP Engine or MAX CDN - Is the latter required if you have good hosting?

I am quite confused about both WP Engine or MAX CDN

On one hand after much deliberation I found WP Engine to be good hosting because of speed though I did spend on 1 yr Hostgator I could surely use WP-E for other sites.

I am wondering where does Max CDN come to play in all this.

If you are already with a fast hosting prodivder why do you need Max CDN.

Moderators: Feel free to move this because though WP-E is hosting, the question is essentially about Max CDN requirement.

A CDN will host your site on a whole bunch of servers across the globe, this means visitors from the US will get a US server, a visitor in the UK will get a UK server and a visitor from Canada will get a Canadian server.

WP Engine is a hosting company who have gone downhill recently by all accounts, so if it were my money I'd use my regular hosting with a CDN.

  Yeah, I think so. firstly CDN like maxcdn is can be cheap but powerful solution. The package start at $9/month compare WPEngine $29/month. Both are great but CDN is my recommendation.

Both are excellent option. Wpengine is also a excellent managed WordPress hosting provider comes with Maxcdn already installed in. In budget both are comes with same category So, My suggestion better go with WpEngine.
