fun idea to get noticed online

If your looking for new clients the best place to go is to google, do a niche search and then click on an ad at the top of the page.

If the URL contains utm_source utm_medium and utm_content you can swap out the fields with your personal information.

You then go to fiverr and buy 10,000 or more fake clicks to you reconstructed link.

The trick is you'll show up in the advertiser google analytics reports during meetings, analysis and the a like.

I changed the phone number for the purpose of this post.

Example link:

Code:
http://www.dove.us/Products/Bar-Body-Wash/One-Shower-Challenge.aspx?page=registration&utm_source=contact-cody-krecicki&utm_medium=call-me-000-000-0000&utm_content=i-want-to-promote-your-samples
When you go to the link above the data is stored in their analytics reporting. What a cool way to get noticed, land a job, etc.

Enjoy this trick, I just came up with it and I wanted to share back to the community.

Definitely a good out of the box idea. No doubt.

But in terms of effectiveness.... I don't know.

If its a big company, the marketing team may not convey the msg to the relevant department.

If the decision makers are also managing the marketing, they may not also take you seriously since this is more to mischievous doing.

You could probably pick up the phone and give them a call or drop them an email or fax.

      But that's for effectiveness.
Not trying to spoil the fun.

      For creativity, I give you a 10/10.

Stop and think about this for a second.

Instead of contacting the company through traditional means you are going to hide a message in ref spam. What are the odds that this is going to result in whatever it is that you are trying to accomplish?
