Leadpages glitch

INTERNET MARKETING

I have a lead page, and on the optin i want to remove the name feild, but it will not let me.

When i hover over the box that is ticked with the name feild, it will not let me uncheck.

its annoying as i just want an email box without the name needed.

I tried to make a new page and same thing, when i integrate it with aweber.

Any advice on this?

Are you using a HTML template or a thirdparty service to create your leadpage?

If you are using Aweber or Getresponse.com, you can actually remove this from the form itself. So you need to edit the form so that you only collect the email and not the name.

Hi there! This sounds like you have the name field is set to be a required field in your email service provider form. If so, you would need to change the Name field to not be required, then reload your integration in LeadPages. After that, you should be able to deselect the Name field.

Yes this is the same with another landing page software i use, if your optin box still has the name field required activated it won't work in the software.

So it's not leadpages fault but misconfiguration in your optin form settings.
