Building a list with Facebook ads

Thinking of expanding my list with Facebook ads. Have a few questions:

1. What opt-in rate range are typical?
2. What is the typical range for cost per signup?
3. Is it better to ask visitors to opt-in with their Facebook account or better to ask them to enter email address?

I know the answers are always dependent on niches, but any inputs are helpful.

    1. Depends completely on niche, ad copy, landing page etc.
    2. Same again, since there is more competition from one market to the next. Personally, I am paying anywhere from .60c to 1.50 per lead. This again depends on how much you're able to pay to obtain leads while breaking even/knowing the life time value of your customers.
    3. Just ask for their email. Be careful of the landing page though as Facebook is clamping now on over hyped landing pages that don't provide a good user experience.

The answers to these questions are not all the same in different niches.

The opt-in rate, the sign up rate, etc - will depend on your niche, on your landing pages, on your products/services, on your traffic, your audience, etc....

The best way to learn all these would be by trial & error!

About the Opt-in .... this would be more of a personal choice - opting in with FB or with an email address are both powerful.

Just take in mind that when people opt-in with their FB accounts ... you will get their active email address ... the same email address they use to Login to Facebook .. so it must be their active email.

You can lower the number of fake email addresses like this!

    Anyway...

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Cheers!
