There is really no easy method of making money online. Affiliate marketing is good because you don't need to deal with the hassles of customer services, returns, or any of the usual headaches. However, just because Affiliate Marketing is an "easy" way to start, doesn't mean it's going to be a cake walk. It's important to make sure you know your niche in and out and recommend products and services that you believe can actually help them and it's always a good thing to study email marketing or list building. It's about becoming a trusted source people enjoy making purchases from and it's still vital to build a list from the very start if you really do want to make it into a business. Also do not forget, most affiliate networks take a month (some less / some more) to pay out affiliates. That is why it is a good thing to own your own products. Eventually you can branch out into product creation . Than if anything you can have the affiliates bringing you the traffic the "product creator".

Affiliate marketing is good for beginners because it is easy to get started. However, in the long run it is far better to have some sort of your own product to sell. At least a digital product if not a physical product because then you can get other people to promote it for you.

If you look at the super affiliates, the guys making thousands of dollars each month in affiliate commissions, you will find they also have their own products as well. They will at least have created a free report or something to give away something valuable to build their list or get traffic. So the one thing that is common among all top earning affiliates is that they have their own product, even if they offer it free and do not sell it. It is a thing you should not neglect if you want to enjoy success for many years in IM.

Nothing to over complicate! In a nutshell...

1) Choose a product to promote

2) Create a platform to drive traffic to in order to build your list e.g. a blog and make sure to populate quality content on it

3) Create a sales funnel that will turn leads into red hot buyers... normally you do this by exposing your subscribers to so much value that when you pitch they will buy from you mainly because they find you credible

4) Drive traffic - one can do this via Forum marketing, FB Ads, solo ads, etc. (all depends on budget) but one needs to build the biggest list possible. On average a subscriber equals to $1.00 so if one wants to make $10k a month they need to aim for a 10k list!

The way you make the first sale isn't that far removed from how you make your millionth. The same core principles apply. Start by having something to sell, a way to sell it (a way to take orders and deliver the product after the sale is made), a way to get people to come in contact with your company (traffic), and a way to convert people who come in contact with your company into buyers (sales materials).

Sell something cheap and make a living out of it. Just have backend products to offer, watch your cost per sale, and know what the average lifetime value of your typical customer is.

If not this, then sell on ebay. Even the most clueless people about internet marketing are able to make $100's per month on ebay. Trust me, i know a good bit of these people.

Once you make your first sale, it is pretty easy to make more after that. For most people, just getting their FIRST one is the biggest challenge.

Just make sure that if you are going to work with affiliate programs, have them offer more income for you on the backend. You want programs that can upsell for you.

If you know about how to make first sales on the internet, you should can scale it up to at least 10x. If you can scale it up, you need to look for other methods.

You may also consider joining a handful of safelist emailer sites to promote whichever product you are in.

You can join many as a free member but to really make a dent you'll have to upgrade.

Yes you can start out by promoting other people's products and earning commission on those however everyone else is also doing so. Therefore it's much better to have your own unique selling point.

I would advise creating your own produc. start simply by creating an e-book on a subject that you have good knowledge of and uploading this to a site like clickbank.

It may take some time to get your first sale that invariably you will in much greater commissions in the longer term.

Thank your product through social media sites like Facebook and twitter. You can also promote your product through PPC advertising and Facebook adverts.

Mine was with article marketing. Better to make a website with an autoresponder to build up your list though. Then keep posting 3-4 times a week and give it a few months to build up ranks in the search engines.

Starting off with affiliate marketing is an excellent way to make your first buck online. Most all IM earner start with affiliate marketing to get the hang of selling before moving on to create their own product.

Another awesome method for making your first sales online is to look into brokering or arbitrage. There's a ton of valuable info here on this forum about service brokering and being the "middle man" through arbitrage, and many people find success in this niche as well!

Affiliate marketing is a great way to start. I would also suggest starting by offering a service rather than a product. This is something that people and businesses need, rather than want. You would have a much bigger market and people willing to spend on something that will help them grow.

The easiest way to make your first $ online is something like ebay or online surveys.
Adsense via YouTube videos is also easy if you can provide videos that give value.
