Good advice. You will be amazed at how much you can learn watching YouTube videos. Lots of smart people post videos there on every subject under the sun.

Also... learn to use the search function right here on the WF to find useful info and tips on anything related to IM, advertising, traffic, e-mail marketing, etc.

Copyblogger.com is a very good source of info as well.

Agreed with Youtube and with post here on WF. Just read as much as you can. Also you can only get so much of an idea without actually doing. Best thing would be to dive in and simply learn from experience.

The REAL Question is what niche do you specialize in , where can you find that information?

If you don't know your niche very well, you are going to be all over the place looking for answers.

If you are into internet marketing the Warrior Forum has plenty of good info from different marketers.

Find someone you relate with and see what they have to offer if it fits you stick with it.

Another thing I can suggest is possibly getting a coach to help shorten up the learning curve.

Social Triggers blog by Derek Halpern.
It's more about the psychology of selling, conversion, and marketing than technicality. A must-visit.

For traffic and SEO, Ana Hoffman's Traffic Generation Cafe blog.
Also Kim Roach's blogs have some great ideas on traffic and Social Media (google her).

For SEO too, I'd suggest Lisa Parmley's blog Businessbolts.
She may not be one of that famous "guru", but her blog is full of actionable plans, real life statistics, and case studies.

Try blogs like Viperchill (owned by a Warrior here) and Income Diary too. They have good insights and case studies in them.

I would caution against focusing on specific blogs. The signal to noise ratio is less than ideal in a world of bloggers who feel the need to blog just for the sake of blogging. That becomes a massive time waste for readers. Keep an eye on social media for the cream that has risen to the top, read that one post and move on.

Stood up one day and proclaimed himself a marketing expert without ever backing it up. Charismatic enough to have pulled it off among his newbie level target market. Convincing delivery, though limited industry observations and theory void of real world experience.

I must say I am impressed. You know stuff. I'd be more curious what you're doing knowing things like that.

As others have said before me, Youtube is your best option. Listen to experts there, but if you're looking for a read then you'll find some great blogs on do social. They have some pretty good tips there.

When I first started online, I simply used the power of the internet and search engines to help me educate myself.

I started researching and learning all about blogging and internet marketing back in 2010. I didn't even know what a domain name was!

So, I really came a long way since then. I honestly gotta thank the power of the internet and search engines for helping me find the necessary knowledge I needed to learn.

Of course, I also invested on my internet marketing education later on. But you can find a lot of good and powerful information for free online too.

You just gotta do a lot of research and kind of know what things you need to be looking for. You can use my internet marketing blog as an internet marketing resource. I teach a lot of good internet marketing knowledge there!

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers!

Do a Google and YT search for whatever it is you want information on. You will find that the blogs and videos with the best engagement (excluding spammy comments), are the ones you want to be looking at and returning to
