Sold Books on Twitter
Just to give some IM people some hope - I sold some books on TWITTER. Yes, through Social Media with 0 investment. I have dropped $40 so far on Facebook with no sales, but TWEETING has made me money.
I am still somewhat of a n00b as I started IM in December 2012 but had a background in Advertising and Ebay power selling over 10 years. So selling online wasn't new for me.
The advice from this particular case is to SELL QUALITY CONTENT. I am selling a 500+ page book that took 4 years to write and self published with Amazon.
Most of you won't be able to produce top notch content, this is why competition exist in America and why the economy grows the way it does, but you all have it inside of you. Whether you are a genius of collecting baseball cards and comic books, you know a lot about stamps, you are a health nut and stick to a cooking routine, it's easy, just look at yourself and then offer your solutions to the world. The hard part is executing it, doing it and not procrastinating.
I admit I am still far from an IM'er but this is a step forward and might give some people some hope.
