This thread is to spread the knowledge of the best ways to generate traffic to your blog or website. Please share your traffic building methods below.

What I do to get traffic:

1. Forum Marketing - Sign up to forums in your niche whether it is health, fitness, internet marketing, it doesn't matter. Just find forums in your niche to sign up to.

After signing up to the forums you chose, edit your profile and create a signature. This is where you will market your website. Make sure to have a simple signature that doesn't look spammy. You could have a call to action, but don't make your signature look spammy or no one will click on the link.

2. Blog Commenting - This method is far more lucrative if done correctly. You need to follow the same principles when marketing in forums. You need to find blogs you like in your niche that you are able to comment on. . If you don't write quality comments, the owner will NOT approve the comment. This is a great way to build traffic and a great residual traffic source.

3. Viral Content Buzz - Go check out the site HERE. This site allows people to share your content to their followers and you earn credits sharing their content to your social networks. I have got soo much more social media traffic from this. The site is pretty easy to work and navigate, so I don't need to provide too much info on this site.
