New here - Question about WSO

Hi everyone,

I come from other forums where money making e-books aren't worth shit. They claim to show methods of earning hundreds a day, when everyone knows that in fact only newbies fall into this. But I was wondering, since this forum seems like a high-quality and reputable one, are the coaching and e-books on here worth it?

I find it pretty ironical that sellers are selling their WSO's to other Internet marketers using regular marketing techniques haha!

Thanks for your honest answers.

They vary greatly. (As you'd expect, given their number?).

Quite often, when people here think that most of the WSO's are crap and scammy (which someone will surely say, if the thread goes on for long enough), it's because they've been buying products here whose sales posts make either income claims or claims that there's almost no work involved.

I've bought some very good WSO's, myself, over the years, but I don't buy products whose sales posts make either income claims or claims that there's almost no work involved, and I never have. That's just my personal preference, but it's certainly left me with a very different impression of the WSO Forum from the one many people here seem to have. (And income claims have no legitimate place at all in a professional marketplace, anyway?).

    Some are worthwhile.

The only real way to judge:

    1. Has a person you trust purchased it? What do they say?
    2. Look at the forum replies. What do they say?

    (2) requires a bit more explanation. Keep in mind that some of those replies will be from friends. To make a sound judgement, you need a WSO with a great many reviews.

I'm a big fan of the WSO model. The trouble is, the system is flawed. If it were me, me running the WSO section, I'd have an expert support staff to review new WSO offerings. If, for instance, a WSO about Domaining arrived that morning, then my domain experts would review the product. Does it pass review? Then release it.

    Thanks for your quick replies!

My internet marketing journey won't rely on WSO's, but I will probably invest in one. I will be using your tips when looking for a profitable one! Since you've both bought some good WSO's, would you mind giving me some examples of the ones you felt were worth every penny? (can be through PMs)

Also, a WSO that's got hundreds of reviews isn't too appealing to me, but that's just me. I feel like I'm not privileged and I could find it for free somewhere else if it's too public.

    Thanks

Well, this may be true ... but in those cases one is perhaps paying partly for the convenience of "not having to find it" (as is arguably true of much "online information")?

I'm not interested in the number of reviews, myself. I'm interested in their quality.

By "quality", in this context, I mean things like (a) who wrote them? (b) did they buy and pay for the product? (c) did they actually use it, or just download it and write a review straight away? (d) what were their results?

There are some members nearly all of whose posts are in the WSO Forum, because they apparently spend all their time writing "reviews in exchange for a free copy" and have contributed little else to the forum. You might think that those reviews aren't worth reading at all, but I couldn't possibly comment.

A WSO is not going to make you rich. The knowledge followed by proper implementation is. Being involved with product creation we do hear clients telling us how some fence sitters complained about a method not being "newbie friendly" or over priced etc.

The issue is most people who complain about WSOs think of WSOs as magic wands that can transform their lives the moment they hit the download button. Whn that doesn't happen they start complaining. You have understand that WSOs are not the property of Harry Potter and don't work as magic wands.

Having said that some sellers here do like selling rehashed stuff. That's sad, but I personally feel the general attitude towards WSOs and other products has to change.

    Hi,

    1. Do you know EXACTLY what you would like to learn?

    2. What business model do you wish to follow?

    3. Pick a reputable marketer with a PROVEN track record.

    4. Do they offer any REAL CASE studies that give you a real insight into
any kind of money generating techniques and business models that actually
work and stand the test of time?

    5. Do they offer a money back guarantee?

    6. If so, then you can always try before you buy.

  • B20ba,

Welcome to the Warrior Forum. To answer your question, of course based from my own experience in buying a few WSOs for the first two or so years after I became a member here:

    I mainly bought tools like WordPress plugins, desktop applications and Web-based software / scripts -- I generally found these tools quite useful during the time that my company and our clients had relevant campaigns that can further be improved with these tools;

    I just bought very few digital info products and 0 coaching offers -- The digital info products offered techniques and strategies relevant to our campaigns at that time, but I found very minimal value in the digital info products that I bought;

A few WSOs were service offers, and I bought a few of these -- Some service providers were quite good, some decent, though there were others that were so-so; and

I've never been scammed. I've almost never asked for refunds, except for two (or so) service providers who had problems responding to customers in a timely manner, and one or two tools that didn't work with my screen reader software...

    Hello b20ba,
There are some very worthwhile WSOs I have bought over the years. And a few that were really crap.

But honestly most of the ones I purchased were very reasonably priced ,and I got at least a couple of things that really helped me out from them.

It has to be said that people are genuinely making a lot of money on this forum. I don't mean selling hype either though some buyers just love it!

Sadly though, a lot of people buy into the hype and buy stuff they can't even use. It sits on their hard drive collecting cyberdust.

As long as people want to buy 'Google loopholes', 'push button traffic' 'send 3 emails and make $30k' then there will also be people selling that stuff but the fact remains that there are some really helpful WSO's sold here (I have bought some) and you would do good to find them out and USE them.

Poo is worth something in certain places as it is used as manure.
