I think I can start this thing off where other WF'ers will chime in.

First off, ClickBank (CB) is a digital marketplace where people like us can use to sell digital products (eBooks, training, software, etc.). One can make money by promoting CB products as an affiliate. The company's goal is to help entrepreneurs by getting them connected to the right tools, resources and partner networks. Essentially, CB serves as a connection between digital content creators (also known as vendors) and us affiliate marketers, whom you then promote them to consumers. In 2011, Revenue Magazine named the company as the top affiliate network in the US.

You can choose the products that are supplied by authors (or supplier). So, it might be good to identify your chosen niche and products within that niche. Choose one of them to start promoting. You can focus on your chosen niche beyond picking up your first products too.
    Hope this helps... Cheers.

Thanks, so I just outsourced my first ebook, so if I went to clickbank I can sell it there or would I be selling the same book to others for them to resell?

To make a long and complicated story short and sweet, here's a clickbank overview..

    1. Clickbank is a website where hundreds of sellers host their digital info products.

    2. We (internet marketers) can sign up for free to sell these products across the web using a specific link given to us by clickbank for each product we choose to promote.

    3. When we post that specific link somewhere online and someone clicks it and buys the product, we are paid a percentage of the sale (usually 50% - 75% of each sale)

So you may go to clickbank, find a digital info product about dating, post your specific link to that product somewhere online, and have someone click your link and buy. You would then get paid a commission.

You're just an affiliate for these products and clickbank tracks your sales through the links they give you to promote

    It's pretty sweet

Thanks guys but what I am still unsure of is say I have an ebook for sale, if someone buys that ebook are they just buying it to read or is the intention for them to buy it to have resell rights to do what they wish with it?

Normally they're buying it to read it, Steve.

ClickBank is a retailer of (mostly) ebooks.

It's a glorified digital-book store. ("Glorified" in the sense that it also sells some services and a few physical products as well as ebooks, and in the sense that it offers the products' manufacturers an automated "payment-sharing arrangement" whereby the money received from the retail customers is divided - after the deduction of ClickBank's fees - between the vendor and her/his affiliates in pre-determined but variable proportions.)

But the key concept is that it's a retailer. When someone buys "a ClickBank product", they're actually and literally buying it from ClickBank - not from its so-called "vendor" (who is really a "manufacturer"/"author"/"publisher", rather than a vendor) and not from affiliates. In other words, it's not just a "payment-processor", like - for example - PayPal.

They buy the ebook with the intention of learning or obtaining new knowledge on a particular subject or interest. They have no right to any resell rights for the ebook.

You need to click on "Marketplace" (top-right, somewhere), and that takes you to a page from which you can search (many of) the available products according to various input parameters.

If you're thinking of becoming an affiliate (promoting other people's products to your own traffic/subscribers), reading this will probably help you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523
