Do People in France Actively Use Amazon For Online Purchases

French people seem to be more nationalistic then most people from other countries.

So that makes me wonder, are people from France crazy about a US based country like Amazon, or do they rather stick to online shopping platforms from France soil?

If I am completely nuts thinking like that then use your free speech

Is there anywhere where I could look up market share of Amazon in France opposed to other online shopping platforms?

Anyway reason I ask is cause my domain broker has a lot of domains with backlink profiles in France lately and I am busy with a campaign turning them into full fledged money sites, despite that I don't speak a word of France but I'll work that out.

I just don't want to invest in something that might hardly be used by people from France, Amazon is just an easy choice at first glance.

Please enlighten me!

  • I lived in France for a bit and their Amazon site had MUCH less selection than the US site. I'm sure it is slowly gaining in popularity but it still has a long way to go.

      Thanks for letting me know, have to do proper niche selection if I would consider it, not to be left with few choices for my visitors.
