Internet marketing isn't a seasonal thing. You'll need to continue with it all the time. Otherwise, within a holiday season, I don't think that you can set up a profitable internet business and earn money (Due to the category you've chosen).

So, use holidays for studying your niche and set up the business (This is the difficult part of any new business. Continue with the business on working days.

For me it's taking it easy and spending time with my family and friends lol... As above IM is a day to day activity which requires relentless dedication throughout the year so it takes time to build things up organically (unless you go down the ads route)... If you are just starting out then focus on the long term and not just the holiday season...

Christmas time would be good for promoting different gifts. I feel amazon affiliates will do good here. For the new years its all about new years resolution which most of the time is losing weight or more money so biz op/internet marketing and weight loss niche would do good here.

Depends on your skill set and what you enjoy. If you research hot toys you could easily still get in and do well as an Amazon affiliate. Also you could easily flip the amazon sites after a little bit of promotion or possibly even before. As well as that you could think about a facebook fan page and sell something you have made or even your own guide to something.

Is it internet marketing related things? Of course parenting, kids clothing , shopping are the best work during the off/ holiday season. Very good idea.
