Someone copied my article and I got an idea....

Someone copied my article and posted it in youtube as a whole description of his video. The video is a robot voice reading the entire article. Although I already reported because I want my article to be removed from it's description, I just got an idea how effective the video is. Since it is youtube, the video ranked right next to my original article in Google and I think of doing it in all of my articles that went viral. The voice is ugly but I guess it will work....

What do you think? Is someone here doing this? What is the best software that can read articles?

Thanks
adie

It's a sound plan, Adie. This month, YT is the clear leader for me in terms of free traffic.

I tried several software but most of them have bad audio. I found announcify (a chrome plugin) to be the best...I like the British female voice... You have 3 voices in announcify (American female, and British male and female).

I let announcify read my script while recording the screen using camtasia. I then edit the video using windows movie maker.

The result is not perfect but it is far better than most free or even paid software. I find it better than the paid version of soundgecko.com. I use creative common videos on youtube...

Your best bet is to utilize your article but not simply transfer it over to video. Aside from suffering from poor bounce rates, affecting your SEO, you'll have less than dramatic engagement, affecting traffic and conversions, among other things. Likewise, avoid software-generated voice-overs. People hate them. If you know how, ranking a video on YT and every other search engine is very simple, but the trick isn't just to rank, it's to stay ranked and get the traffic to take some form of action. Overall, it's actually a very multifaceted process, and quite complex if done correctly. You can use the above approach you mention, but those who truly benefit have the majority of the process automated, and they're churning out hundreds, often thousands of videos a week. This really isn't the way to go. It's short-term thinking. The trick is to build up a legion of videos that stick for the next 30 years if need be. The best initial advice I can give you now is this: use the information in your articles to influence great videos and re-write those articles for the description, remembering to put your URL at the very top. Learn how to make killer videos, learn how to rank, and learn how to market to your viewing audience. Those 3 things will lead naturally to the rest you need to know. Best of luck, buddy!

You can find decent gigs at fiverr from people who will make a video or read a script over a video if you want to avoid the electronic voice.

A quick and easy video to make is hire someone from fiver to read the script to the camera.

Then take the video in an editor and replace sections over the video image with slides/graphics instead of the person talking but keep the sound track so they are now talking over graphics instead of to the camera.

Super fast to do this and looks great when the video cuts back and forth between a talking person and graphic illustrations.

Voice over actors charges too much and is not advisable if you are planning to create several videos a day with longer scripts... My main purpose is different though. I use videos for SEO only and not really for direct selling so quality of videos is just second priority. Fiverr is a great option if you have funds and needs higher quality audio.

You can find it if you are always monitoring your article positions in google.

Yes is would rank but will the video convert?

Personally, I would never watch a video containing a robot reading an article

Test it out and let us know.

    Cheers,

    C.G.

Again, my purpose is not to convert. My purpose is to rank and yes, it ranked well..No one is expected to listen to robot for 2 to 3 minutes when the article to read is available on its link...

I contacted him 3 days before I reported. I think that was enough time...

I think that is a great idea!

You just gave me a new idea as well! lol ... I don't know any software to do the job here but I got a few ideas on how I can get an audio for my blog posts.

Try using Soundgecko.com to have a voice read your article and simply record that audio with an audio recorded in your computer

This is a way around it!

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Cheers!
