Hi! I am wondering how likely a niche for 'cute stuff' that you can buy. Basically listing affiliate links to cute things you can find on the net. perhaps include a section with pictures and the like.

How likely would that be successful?

I hope to hear some great responses and more! thanks

It can be very successful, and there are some very well-known sites that have successfully adopted that and/or very similar models.

The apparent success of this site has been discussed in the Warrior Forum on many occasions (the search function will help you): http://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/ (and indeed the features about the site which predicate its having been discussed here so often are probably the very same features that underpin its success?).

But like everything else in internet marketing, its successful monetization depends not primarily on the "niche" itself but on the marketing skills of the person doing it.

Bear that in mind, when you look at that site: it isn't really the site that's making the money - it's the owner's skills and you usually can't see most of those from the site.

How likely it is to be successful for you (as for anyone else) depends on your own knowledge of affiliate marketing and on your own marketing skills.

Alexa is correct. You can sell dirt to a farmer if you market it well. Out of 7 billion people on this planet, SOMEONE (and a lot of someones) will buy what you're selling if you market correctly.

    I agree with Alexa.

I don't think I'd emulate the This Is Why I'm Broke site layout. I think that site is leaving a lot of money on the table because of poor display ad placement.

Yes, there is potentially plenty to be made with affiliate links, but don't ignore display ads.

The key is coming up with great themed posts, getting great images and using some great headlines. With more copy and themed galleries I think you could get a lot of traffic from social media.
