Hi again everyone.

Thanks to all who posted some great replies to my last thread, all very good and helpful info. I am now reaching the stage where I'm ready to pay for hosting for the domain name I have purchased. I'm just looking for suggestions really on good ones and ones to avoid. I did notice that providers such as Hostgator have software which allows you to build a decent looking website. I could do with something along these lines as I have no experience in website creation. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Dave.

I've been really happy with Bluehost ever since I first started online

(I believe I've said that sentence at least 3 times today haha)

Anyway, they were really helpful when it came to technical mumbo-jumbo...

Which is the main reason why I recommend them.

Also, with Bluehost, you can easily attach WordPress to your site on the inside

I like Liquidweb for hosting, and I highly recommend using Dnsimple.com for everything to do with your domains

You will be much better off learning WordPress. It's very easy.

Also, the host I use (Arvixe) and many others have 1-click WP install. You can get started with Arvixe for as little as $4 per month.

I've got a 20% discount coupon for your first invoice,

Arvixe has just been bought by the dreaded EIG conglomerate/disaster, and many people therefore feel that it's one to avoid, now. Unfortunately, because (like so many now-EIG-owned companies that are becoming customer-service nightmares) it used to be pretty good, by most accounts.

There's a new thread discussing this exact question virtually every day, Simmo.

      Here's a very recent one: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...companies.html
