How can I drive traffic to my online store?

I understand how to drive traffic in a blog because it in itself will naturally have lots of content but how about an online store where you cannot place lots of content, how can I drive traffic in my online store with the state of SEO today that favors lots of content rather than a website like an online store that naturally doesn't have lots of content?

As I know something about SEO. google no longer rank online store sites. Because content is key and it's very difficult to rank a site without enough content.
So I recommend to go with PPC, optimize your ads and easily you get profit!

I'm really not sure why you can't have lots of content on your ecommerce store. After all, you should have a very lengthy product description as well as customer reviews on each product page. That could easily come to 1000 words or more per page, which is about the length of an article.

As for increasing content on a page, why not add a place on each page where customers can make comments about the product, such as by asking questions. This content should be heavily moderated (as you will have spammers try to leave links in that area). You would get a fresh daily influx of content to a page without any creative effort on your part.

These are just a few of the things you can do to tweak your online store for better ranking in Google search.

I don't bother going for SEO when driving traffic to online stores. It's a waste of time.

Go for the paid option. (facebook, google, media buy)

You still can write content on store as news, products review and similar...
Otherwise PPC, PPV, facebook, google, media buy, solo ads...
