Could You Guys Help Me With Prices For My New Business Idea?

Hey Guys,

I have recently been working on a new website of mine WP Sites For Sale which will sell WordPress websites.

The websites will be available to purchase as products, with a set theme, amount of pages etc and for a set price.

All of the content will be supplied by the customer (text, images, videos etc) and the website will be built using the customers own web hosting and domain name (which we will hopefully sell through affiliate links).

The main bit that I am not sure of is how much to sell these sites for?

I will start this website with 2 sites available for purchase, but I will add more once I get the site all pieced together, content written etc..
(visit the examples below)

Basic WordPress WebsiteBasic WordPress Website

Personal Blog SitePersonal Blog Example

Each of the sites will come with the following pages / posts

Homepage (blog will be a blog roll homepage)
About Us
Contact Us (with contact form)
Privacy Policy (I will create this using a generator)
Sitemap (made with a free plugin)
Up to 7 more Custom Pages (text, images, videos, clickable links etc)

Along with the following

2 Custom Menus (A Legal Menu & A Main Menu)
Add Their Own Favicon (or supply a simple one)
Links To Any Social Pages They Have (Facebook, Twitter etc)
“Hello Bar” Set-Up (this is the bar running along the top of the “Basic WordPress Website” example seen above)

The following plugins will be installed

Contact Form 7
Google Sitemap
WP.Smushit
WP Revisions
Statpress Visitors

So, How much do you think I could sell each of these sites for or how much would you be willing to pay for the service?

Any and all replies to this post are greatly appreciated!

Thank-You

How much is your time worth?

Will these sites have traffic? How much traffic? Where will the traffic come from?

Will they be monetized? How will they be monetized? How much will they be earning?

How much content will the sites have? Will the content be optimized?

    What about after sales support?

Will they have a good, or at least decent, URL?

      Hey agmccall,
Thanks for the reply, but as I mentioned above, the users will supply their own content, this is a basic site set up service. I will recreate the example sites above with the customers own text and images. They will also supply the domain name and the hosting.
      Thanks again!

Oh OK, Well a basic Wordpress site like that would probably sell for around $39.00 Bucks, but, you could get some extra income by promoting a hosting affiliate program as well as a autoresponder affiliate program and setting them up for your customers.

I am sorry to not help you more with this reply, but like amgcall said at the beginning of his post it's really about how much do you think you value your time.

Want to get 20$ per hour for doing website? How much time do you need to fulfill your different package? 5 hours? 20 hours? In both examples, that would be 100$ - 400$.

Want 100$ per hour ? Well you do the math.

Your idea can work depending on your marketing behind it. You got the idea. Now you only need to fix the price depending on what income you want to accomplish with it. However, if you want to fight with online competitors, then you might want to analyze competition prices first.

If you take it offline then sky is the limit. Depending on how you approach your client and your capacity of building trust, you can charge a premium price and still get customers.
