Best place for PPS affiliate marketing for seller

It seems pretty hard to resell goods through affiliates unless you offer 10-15 times the price of an item.
Of course we get all the phonecalls of other peoples' clients who are in search of unfindable companies banging their CC's because they bought bogus $5 trials, but that is another story. We advertise with ourphonenumber 'cause we have nothing to hide.
Affiliates and companies who push them are less interested in earning 20$-30$ PP(honest)S, because they can get 60-80$ per trial (just to get that CC info).
We saw this 10-15 years ago in the Adultmarket, only a matter of time before Visa and the like will put an end to this, but for now, companies like ours are having a heard time finding that true marketeer, who is able to convert a potential client into a buying one, one that will be happy he found us and is better off (and cheaper, in the end) without the hassle of chasingdown the company banging his or her credit card.
Some networks literally told us to start using these trial CC banging tactics if we ever want a sale from them, as this is what webmasters want.
Sounds bitter? Maybe a bit, we are getting tired of answering the phone on a daily basis, only to find out its not our client who is mad and sad. These people will never, ever, buy anything online again.
In short: Is there anybody left with a sense of morality, somebody who can be found in a network. And if so, what network?
