Thank You For Your Purchase! Here's Your FREE Bonus!

I know a lot of newbies are looking to get into affiliate marketing.

I thought I would share a tip that is not new or innovative but a lot of newbies may be unaware of. This one small thing increased my affiliate sales when I started using it.

Offer a bonus to people who buy through your link.

You can add it to be delivered automatically through affiliate platforms but I always require people to forward a copy of their receipt to my email. This allows me to send them to my download page and have contact with them.

If you are not using bonuses in your affiliate promotions, I suggest you try it.

Thanks for reading!

Great tip. Also offering a review of the product before sending to the product itself will help to boost conversions because you're showing them what they are buying whilst building a bit of trust with yourself at the same time.

great point Brent. I also want to add, don't make your bonus some crappy PLR. Take the time to add value and stand out from all the ones that do use PLR. (some PLR is well written but many aren't)

For your bonus, make sure it compliments the affiliate product you are selling. Maybe it takes the product to the next level or is a tool that simplifies things or is a DFY (done for you) that really helps the buyer.

It means you have to create your own product and that is tough the first few time, I know!

Remember to purchase the product before promoting it. Your affiliates will trust you more and buy MORE from you in the long run.

Advice: if the product sucks, DON'T ever promote it to your list. It will kill your business after some time.

One last nugget, always remember to tell your affiliates you bought the product. And give them some pros and cons of the product - don't go into details though...

and another angle.. you can create entire WSOs and products around affiliate offers by creating a specific training course that makes one aspect of a large product much easier. and tell individuals why your product will shorten their learning curve with your exclusive add-on..

example: affiliate product = complete video marketing course for youtube channels
your add-on product: some type of youtube keyword ranking tool

Of course, it is a good idea. I suggested many people at the same thing. such as if one products actual price is $10. The seller need to increase its rate to $20. Then he should make a discount offer about 50%, in this case the actual products value will be same. but the buyer must be happy to buy this product in the discount period. Thanks.

    Wonderful Stangel,

I've also learnt that your bonus should be related to the product you're promoting.

Also, if you find telling yourself, "I can't use this product", DON'T offer it as a bonus.

That's a great way to increase conversions indeed.

You just have to make sure that the bonuses add a lot of value and are related to the product that's being sold. If you can do that you'll see a lot more sales.

Argh great tip People always like to get bonuses.
    Quoting a blog :
A product+bonus has a higher perceived value than the same two products bundled together. This is backed by science: Research by Jerry Burger found that people preferred to buy a cupcake that came with two free cookies vs. a bundle that contained a cupcake and two cookies.

It should go without saying, but I'm glad you said it.

Like selling a car to someone who has never driven and offering free driving lessons as a bonus.

If you can do that you'll see a lot more sales.
I can personally attest to that!

If you also have some agreements in place with other guys you can always offer each others bonuses on your product delivery pages. This way you can grow your lists quicker and also help each other out.

Although always check the products as they need to be a good fit.

This is so true especially if you are targeting the US market, we Americans love discounts
and bonus offers. Bonus Offers are also very important if you are marketing high ticket items
    too.

Any affiliates reading this thread - listen to this advice and take action with it.

This will really help set you apart from the other affiliates promoting the same product.
