Asking similar niche webs for demographics info

Hi all,
I've recently found a website closely related to my future niche, and with a huge amount of targeted traffic.

They have a page with info about selling ads space on his website, so I asked as someone who wants to put adds on his website, but I've received the following answer:

"I do not deal with anonymous people."


Well... How should I approach this? That information could be of huge help,since the demographics on that page are probably the ones I want to sell to. I read people on this forum say that websites like this are eager to share this kind of information, since it helps to sell adds, but I will need more than an email sent by an anonymous person or an individual...

What do you people think?

Mail them in the name of other website?
This is my first serious project, and the website is not online yet, so I can't speak as a webmaster. Also don't want to supplant someone identity, since it's illegal.

I just want information that they want to share if I give them an incentive, and then nothing else.

      Yes, he probably does. But what should I tell him?
      Obviously the truth -I don't own any business nor any website yet, but I'm trying to get info about demographics to which I will be selling affiliate products- is not a choice. Because they will be willing to provide information ONLY if that can benefit them, i.e., sell his add space to someone who will afford it. And this is not the case.

      So I need something that would work.

      Bump, any thoughts?

    We did not see your correspondence with him so it is hard to guess.

    Did you include the following information with your request so he could contact you?

    Name of business, Your First & Last name, street address, phone number, email address.

    Does he sell his space directly or through a broker?

      He/they sell space directly.

      I did not include nothing, it just was a first random approach, I'm a total noob.

      I don't have a business yet, as I explained, my only project is still in the oven until next month. I can include the rest of data (real or fake), but here I am asking what should I include. I am "nobody" yet, if I tell them the complete truth, they will probably not show very eager to share that valuable info if they don't see selling potential.

      To be more specific, they already have ads form amazon affiliate and for many niche related companies that sell things like encyclopedias or industrial equipment. Also it's important to say that is one of the top traffic websites in my niche (millions of monthly visits estimated, but from search engines mostly), and it definitely reaches the demographics I need to clearly identify.

      Anyone has any idea?
