What is the Best way to promote Tuition/Training business?

Hi all,

I am trying to provide some math and IT tuition and I was wondering if there is a better way than the traditional way (ads/flyers offline).

Thanks in advance

Do you have a personal website or a personal blog? Maybe you can start promoting online.

Yes I have a website that I have started for online Event promotion : initially I was focused on parties and concerts but just realised (difficult) that using my own resources (maths and IT skills) I can start my own events (training for students and executives) quickly.

That sounds like a great idea. One thing I might suggest is if you are going to get into training/teaching you might want to get a second domain for that. Just so that it looks more professional because your existing site already has a reputation for things like parties and concerts.

And don't forget free resources like craigslist either. For local stuff you could promote yourself there.

In fact, yes I have two domains and the main one is dedicated to general events and the second one for parties and concerts, bar, etc...

"Tuition/Training business?" Don't you mean a tutoring / training business?

You may want to clarify that one before you start advertising.

I mean Tuition/Training Business (since by tuition I mean teaching or instruction, especially of individual pupils or small groups).

Grammatically you are right but that is not the common usage of "tuition".
People think about paying tuition, but they get tutoring. Also the -tion
word linked to a -ing word makes it sound awkward, hence my
        suggestion.

Maybe it is because I am UK based. I am going to follow your advice since I would to equally coach/boost student online without necessary give them permanent coach (but advice/assistance instead).

This guy is someone I used back when I did Maths - you can some tips out of his book or even contact him and ask for some advice:

A-level Maths Revision, GCSE Maths, SAT and IB Math Revision Videos from ExamSolutions

Other then that I would recommend creating a course on for example A-Level Statistics - going through past exam papers and then selling the course on Udemy.

    Hope this helps bro!
