How to get accepted as affiliate for JVZoo offers

So I have recently started venturing away from the web and software freelance world and into actually marketing myself. I figure the quickest route to experience will be promoting affiliate products. So obviously I have started out with ClickBank but I also want to use JVZoo.

So I created an account there and have been browsing through a lot of the products available to promote. The problem seems to be that many of the vendors will not accept you if you have never made a sale on JVZoo before. So how exactly do you get your foot onto the ladder and start actually selling to get you to the point where you will be accepted by most vendors.

It seems like somewhat of a catch 22.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

It helps to send as much info as possible, stuff like:
-> How you will promote the offer
-> Your website (if you have one)
    -> Your WF profile page
    -> Your facebook page
-> Contact the product creator before requesting approval
-> Mention previous online work experience / credentials

If that doesn't help to get you approved then simply move on to another product, there's enough choice.

      A Comprehensive Guide!

Apart from your mentioned, some vendors saying "they can reject affiliate if he never made a sale". But I liked you said, just move on to next and try your luck.

What I learn from this post, beginners should choose products with lesser gravity to get easily accepted. Else they must have to build a relation with vendor before applying for product approval.
Seniors correct me please if I'm wrong.

In the notes area just tell them you recently joined and what your experience is, maybe how you intend to promote their product.

If someone bothers to do that at least I usually approve them.

STart out by promoting some less known products, if a product creator isn't getting a lot of affiliates he usually isn't so picky.

You can find a bunch of those little guys in fb groups. Once you have made sales you will be easily accepted for the heavy hitters.

In the jv request section indicate that you want to promote there product to
your subscriber list, sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. It all
depends on the vendor. For some of the top offers it is usually hard to get accepted
to promote there products unless you have a track record. As mention above it is best
to contact the vendors personally and build a relationship with them.

I found that some vendors even say on the page flat out that they will deny anyone who has never made a sale on JVZoo. I understand that they only want credible people promoting their products but by the same token they surely still want to help out the people just starting out. Everyone starts somewhere

      Adrian,

It goes a long way to write the seller a thoughtful comment when you apply to promote.

Explain that you're just starting out on JVZoo and how/where your promotions will take place.

Be honest, personable and willing to accept that you'll likely be on delayed payments until you can stack up a few sales that stick for the seller.

Realize that until proven otherwise, you're just another "zero-sales" affiliate in a long line of spammy, scammy affiliates from every dark corner of the globe who're out to breach any chink in any seller's armor they can.

The consequence for a seller letting their guard down is often a small pile of fraudulent transactions being charged back a few weeks down the line.

It all gets easier in time.

      Good luck,

      Brian

        Thanks for this reply.

I am fully aware that I will be on delayed commision and I am totally fine with that. I just want to get my foot onto the ladder so I can try working hard to become successful in the affiliate world.

I have recently applied to be an affiliate with a few products so fingers crossed.
