  • I will admit that I failed in CPA, PPC, Adsense, Blogging and all the usual stuff we are accustomed to. I then started to think outside the box and joined a business model that enables me to work maximum one hour daily and generates $100 daily. With this business, I am on my way to a 4 Hour Work Week from the comfort of my home

  • Made my first $100 on Monday. Was a long road to get there. Probably 6 months in total (but a lot of that was spent waiting for web designers etc to get back to me). But wrote an ebook and video course that I knew was better than anything out there because i'm an expert in the field and then built a bit of a reputation on a forum in my niche.

Felt good to have a satisfied customer after all my work. But the forum route is hardly going to be high volume so hoping to figure out the PPC world next to really crank up the sales.

  • First $100 was a long time ago back in 2003 when I was 14 or 15 years old I had a popular Dragon Ball Z website. On this website I had ads for modchip.com (the chip to play games on playstation), I earned think 2 cents a click.

It took a hell of a long time to rack up the clicks, but by having click gates to access sections of the site I was able to make a small amount of money.

    • Arbitrage, at first I thought this would be a good way to make a few bucks to invest either in training or to buy ads for list building. Now its going so well that I am just sticking with that!
  • I remember that $100 pretty well, but isn't it always the case that the first sales are the most memorable?

Back around 2002 I had a hobby site catering to DarkBASIC Professional (a simple beginners' programming language) with tutorials, resources and a discussion forum.

It only dawned on me that Amazon had an affiliate programme when another webmaster displayed a link promoting the software. I signed up and published one too, with the bizarre impression that it would lend an air of 'professionalism' to my site. There was no real promotion or a deliberate pre-sell or anything of the sort, and it hadn't actually stuck me that any sales might be forthcoming, which is probably why I went away and forgot about it for several weeks.

You can imagine my surprise when I next logged in and discovered a handful of commissions!

Hardly a rags-to-riches tale, but it is fair to say that little foray into affiliating whet my appetite for online business. That same year, while still in school, I started offering a web hosting service with a reseller account that quickly blossomed into a nice little income stream. Within a year or so I had moved to a couple of dedicated servers in Virginia and was earning my living from that, domain registrations and building and promoting websites for others. I even found myself a little niche specialising in people with holiday villas to let.

After working myself to the bone for the best part of three years, I realised that passive income (to the extent any of it is passive) was the holy grail and changed tack again to "revisit my roots".
  • I made my first $100 with Adsense too, that's before I learned there's much better ways to monetize your hard earned traffic.

  • Hey BobanV.

Nope this sale was through chatting to people on forums in my niche and eventually sweet talking someone into my product. Felt good to get a sale but hardly going to be a big money technique

I earned my first 100$ from on Fiverr selling Review services.
  • My first $100 was doing PPD when I was 14, I started doing the extremely saturated gaming niche offering trial keys for xbox, PC, and PS3. I made around $1500 for two consecutive months doing this but I was up until all hours posting on YouTube and other social media sites as I had no clue about SEO at the time so I stopped doing it because of the ridiculous hours I was sat at the computer for.
