Don't ever give up if you are serious about this Internet marketing business and building a full-time income. You will meet problems and obstacles along the way. From technical to even money problems. There is always a way out if you are determined enough.

Some of us might have almost given up but didn't and finally succeed. Please share what kept you going and how you overcame that problem. Thanks.

I am almost about to give up , I am just going to try 1 last time. I hope this project won't fail this time!

    • I hope Xsparshx succeeds in internet marketing this one last time but I would agree with samlee you shouldn't give up as no one said that getting into the internet marketing would be easy and that you'll make quick money fast it takes work and time for you to succeed.

In my experience the best way you can market is through the use of forums, social networking and video uploads which takes a lot of work as you'll need to create the video's, images and socialize with people on a regular basis while trying to promote/sell your product.

      Anyway good luck Xsparshx

Honestly, when I first started I was promised all these things - which I ended up never getting. The easy road will always be there, along with the hard one, the medium one, etc.

There's going to be 10,000 different paths that lay ahead of you, each one promising the one of least resistance. But understanding that I've already put the time in, I've already learned so much, I'm already struggling and thinking about giving up, but I didn't get my reward from
It - therefore there's work to do.

    Cheers,
    Mark

You have to look at failure as just another lesson learned...

I've found the best mentality to have is certainty. If I'm certain I will succeed in my goals no matter how many failures it takes, I will eventually get there.

Knowledge, action taking, and persistence is key.

I'm not saying you have to do this - but when you put yourself in position - where you HAVE to do it, there is no other option - you'll find a way.

That's what I did when I dropped out of uni and stopped my eBay business to work at this - I burnt the boats.

      The was no other option.

Exactly. It goes a long way to stick to it.

And yes about the certainty. When you know in your mind that you'll be going after it, it will happen, and may not happen on your timetable, but it will when it's supposed to!

I always keep this quote in mind.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

I agree. Starting out trying to make money is always the toughest part because you are basically starting from scratch & have probably been burned from joining programs that never made you a dime. If you start to watch what other successful people are doing, you can definitely make money the same way if you are willing to put in enough time & effort

This is dangerous advice - some people are not suited to IM and should not waste their time and money trying to do it. Just because some people can stick at it and make it work - doesn't mean everyone should try and do the same.

Everyone might want to be a basketball player, but just because some short people are great players doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it more suitable for tall athletes.

Everyone has potential to be great at something - but many people turn to IM thinking it's some sort of get rich quick path to money for people with no special skills.

The most successful people are usually the hardest working, but also the smartest working and also know when to quit an activity which their skills and knowledge do not fit.

I was going to say exactly the same thing. If evaluating your results is telling you 'this is not for me' then you should be listening. Your aptitude for internet marketing might not be up to much, but it doesn't mean to say that your own self-talk is falling short too.

I've never sat a practical driving test but I've had more driving lessons than I care to remember, the last being when I wrote off a driving instructor's front wheel and accidentally dislocated his shoulder as he tried to stop me kerbing his car. He was philosophical about this and said he'd be in touch. This was almost twenty years ago and I'm not expecting to hear from him any time soon. It was around then that I accepted that I just don't drive - the roads out there would probably be a much more terrifying place to be for everyone now if I hadn't.

Incidentally, although I was pretty useless on the practical side of driving, I did manage to pass the theory test first time with a 100% mark. Something perhaps worth bearing in mind next time you run into someone giving a lecture on IM who 'sounds' like they know just what they're talking about.

Oftentimes people need to know when to hang it up and move on. It's not the sexy hurrah answer people want...but it's the truth.

    Yes newer give up....

If you want to have a great and successful business or life you absolutely must make mistakes. If you make big mistakes you’ll have a great, big, fantastic business or life. The same apply to all segments. It doesn’t matter if you like it that is the truth.

So you need to learn how to screw up and you need to learn how to accept it and learn from it and do it again and again and again. That’s my message... so, please, don’t be afraid of mistakes, mistakes are fantastic.

My biggest advice would be to set aside a budget of $1k or higher and just pick 1 niche, 1 traffic source and rotate offers and landing pages. Also, figure out what competition in doing and split test their methods with yours.
