What is wrong with Amazon KDP promotion?

Hi all, I have a question on Amazon Kindle KDP promotion please. Before I ran the KDP promotion, my e-books were selling, after i did 3 days e-book promotion (free), they stopped selling. For the past two weeks now, after the promotion, I have not sold a single book. Is KDP promotion working at all?

        • What did you do to publicize your KDP promotion?
        You should promote it extensively throughout the internet. There are hundreds of websites, blogs, forums and Facebook pages available for you to utilize.
        • How many downloads did you achieve?
        If you only had a few people download your book during this promotion, this could impact your standing in a negative manner.
        • How long did you run it for?
        Never use the full 5 days in one promotion. Two days at a time works much better.

    Never use the full 5 days in one promotion. Two days at a time works much better.
    My experience is the opposite.

    A couple of my books didn't take off whatever I tried, until I ran a full week promotion - and got a v. large number of downloads
