Membership website questions

Hi guys,

I am thinking in building up a membership site to my fiverr strategies content. So i would have a couple of questions that you may help me to be clarified.

1) free membership or paid subscription: what do you think its better to offer the membership for basic info and for content that bring value i can offer some vip or premium subscriptions. Or the access to all the content to be paid in a minthly subscription?

2) how do you guys avoid that subscribers to cancel the subscription in the first month since they will have access to all the information?

3) what is the best theme for a membership site in Wordpress?

4) what is normally the price range for information content in terms of subscriptions?

    Well it all depends on the value of your content.
    If you think that it is worth reading and implementing then you should go for paid membership and can be set for monthly subscriptions
    and for price range it could be anywhere between 20 - 35 $ but it all really depends on the quality of your product..

    Free memberships for access to some of the content (including some of your best). It builds a list you can hammer, and if your content really is good then they'll have no hesitation in upgrading.

    2) how do you guys avoid that subscribers to cancel the subscription in the first month since they will have access to all the information?
    You can drip the content over a number of months. Or you could just keep updating the site with fresh information.

    3) what is the best theme for a membership site in Wordpress?
    Almost any theme will do. Content trumps all by a distance. My favourite is Canvas, just because it can be bended into anything you want - now or in the future.

    4) what is normally the price range for information content in terms of subscriptions?
    Varies. There's no standard price. It's the issue most membership builders stress and strain over the most!

    I am going to be the debbie downer here...

    What makes you think your Fiverr strategy is worth paying a monthly membership fee for? What are you offering that is so special to justify this?

    That is what your prospects will be thinking, so you had better have a killer answer to it, and do a really good job of explaining it in your copy.

    To me, this feels more like an ebook or a course. Not a monthly fee.

    Prove me wrong, though, and the benefits are significant.

      Hi jack,

      My goal with this membership site will be much beyond an ebook. I will offer a bunch of videos from the startup to the more advanced topics, will add lots of ebooks about specific strategies, and since fiverr is evolving, will bring the top gigs that are converting better in fiverr in a monthly basis , this last one its an ongoing methodology.

      Probably will also include coaching for the VIP members, but will need to setup a good pricing model.

      In the end of the day i will explain them how to achieve $2500-$3000 monthly like i do.... Not with Bs but with evidence of my fiverr and paypal.

      So a simple course will not bring them all of this.

      Sure a great copy will make the difference hands down.

      In optimize press can i add the membership prices in the membership portal and offer only specific content based in the membership?

    If you write the material yourself, you should definitely consider getting it proof read, going by your posts. I couldn't pay any heed to someone who cannot use proper grammar, but I understand forum posts get lazy I guess.

    Create unique content of Value over time. You will have a cancel percentage...but it will be kept at the minimum.
