Selling online business. What do I sell it for?

Hello -

I am selling an online business and not sure what to sell it for. It brings in between $50-$100 a month without effort (seriously, I haven't promoted it for a couple years and that was minimal).

With the income plus potential for someone to make more with the right promotion, what should I sell it for? I'm getting out of the business and focusing on something else and hoping to use the sale from this to help jumpstart my other venture.

There are no monthly expenses and no 'upkeep' on this. Basically I set this up and it ran on autopilot since 2012 and it brings in $50-$100 a month. Not sure what to sell it for..

      I've had a couple offers in the $750 range and wasn't sure where this landed. Yes, this is as I say and I can verify the income.

        If you are earning between $50-$100 (as you have mentioned in the original post) from this business then it's better to sell it for the amount that you would have made in 6 months from the business.

        In other words, take $50 and $100, multiply it by 6 and sell it for that price.

        The price would be between $300 - $600. It would be great to find a compromise and therefore I would say that the best price to sell it for is about $500.
