What Is The Biggest Problem You Face In Your Business

Hi Warriors. I'm doing some research and wondered what the biggest problem is that you face in your IM business? Is there something that continually hinders your progress? or is there something that you wish you had that would save you time or money? Do you have a problem with a particular tool you use or wish there was a tool that would make your day easier? My biggest problem at the moment is finding time to run my IM business! I could do with a time machine or having 30 hours in the day. I look forward to hearing your replies.

You must planning everything, don't let your phone distract you, people calling you will leave message if the call is important, do your emails once or two times a day only, etc ...

Great advice 2pat! I've seriously considered going without mobile for a while (still a work in progress). I'm just reading the 4 hour work week to try and get some ideas for de-cluttering my life so I can get on with some work.

That is one of the most influential book I have ever read, so I hope you enjoy it. Because of that book I ended up living for 1 month in Berlin (a few years ago). Now I need to make some money to finance my next hop oversees, because the traveling bug has bitten again ... plus "winter is coming" !

My other problem is : not enough traffic !!

Information overload is the biggest issue! Once the ability to focus is achieved early, there is no problem

That's very true we all seem to be overwhelmed with information these days. Its very difficult to know what information is true, relevant and worth us spending time on to consume. Thanks allseowork

My biggest issue was staying focused and making sure I spent the time on the highest priority items and those that had the biggest impact on income.

It is so easy to get distracted by the newest shiny marketing object but once you have decided what is most important to your growth it makes it easier to just stick with the things that will lead you to the goal.

Develop a daily, weekly and monthly routine and get an accountability partner to keep you on track.

Balancing getting a business off the ground while working a full time job, spending family time, etc. is a big challenge. So far, sitting down on a Sunday and establishing very specific goals for the limited time I have available has really helped to focus when I sit down; otherwise, I spend 10-15 minutes fiddling around deciding what are the next actions I should be taking.

Join the club! I could have written your response myself. Setting goals is the key start with them and the rest will follow. Good luck

The first hurdle for me is time - with a full time job and a family, time is precious. Focus and staying up late/getting up early has been the answer for me to help with this issue. time management is huge

The second hurdle is not getting caught up in the next sexy shiny object that comes out on Warrior + or JVZoo. I really make an effort to sift through the crap to find quality information to learn from and implement/take action/try my own twists

Time management. As my business grows, it's difficult to add in all of the extras, such as personal branding. Devising a strategy and sticking to a very stringent schedule has worked very well to remedy the problem.

Mind set - When a person is working by themselves and all their contact is online only, seeing no results (money coming in) it is very hard to stay motivated.

Some will tell you that you need a very big reason as to "why" you are in this business, but there are times when I doubt my own ability.

Renhoek I know just what you mean its very very difficult to work alone. Try to find an accountability partner.... this has worked really well for me. I have a buddy who keeps me motivated and we both agree to do certain things by certain times and if we don't do it we get a kick in the ass like you would do from a boss so to speak! It just keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward and taking action. Feel free to drop me a PM if you ever need a kick up the ass! lol

For me it is TIME.... I'm starting into a new area of my business which has required me to get some more tools. Of course I have to learn how to use these tools and link them together to get the project off the ground. So this has left me watching hours of tutorial videos while trying to work my biz at the same time.
As a solution I have started outsourcing some of the projects. I learn a few things at a time while having someone else do the rest and link them together. For my own sanity and be able to get the project off the ground quickly this is my best option.

Convincing clients and prospects they don't have to find some new, secret, unknown niche market to make money.

It's still shocking how many people (new and experienced) who stil think that.
So, they waste a lot of time and money researching for the new, secret or unknown market. Instead of making money from the proven markets.

Thanks The Niche Man. Very true! everyone seems to be searching for a hidden secret niche instead of looking at different ways to make money from the proven niches. Thanks for your input

Out of curiosity, which would you rather do?

    1) Outsource some things to professionals who know that field, or
    2) Continue to learn it yourself to save money?

I'd do both. Start with number 2 and then work my way to implimenting number one as soon as possible.

Great question! its really hard for me to answer. I'm a control freak and very tight with money so my head says 2 2 2 2 2 !!!!!! however 1 is the way to go I think if you really want to be successful.

I know that I will be outsourcing, but I have a need to understand the processes as much as possible first. So, I'm with Delilah - watching training videos and learning to implement is very time consuming! I take notes on every training so I can come back quickly and remember the main points. I also am very picky about what training I watch - a lot of people have so much fluff in their videos.

I'm planning to outsource the things I'm not fast at and the things I don't like doing as soon as possible so I can concentrate on doing the things I'm good at that move my business forward!

The biggest problem most people will face is trying to do everything themselves. If you want to succeed in this business, you will need to outsource. I personally use Fiverr or Lexorsoft for my backlinks and articles. I then have them submit it for me. When you try to do to much, you get burned out and move on to the next shiny object.

Not managing my time good enough.

24 hours in a day is a lot and I truly believe I can get more done if I just got in the habit of scheduling my days a week in advance and then sticking to it.

This is something that I plan to work on this year. It's definitely a challenge but I know it's a must in order to get my business to the next level.
