How should I invest $100 into affiliate marketing?

Money is very tight right now so all I have is $100.
Affiliate marketing is something i've been interested in for a couple years now, but I never got the hang of it. It's the number one thing i've stuck to out of all the other options like CPA,PPD, ect.
Last year at around this time I found a website sorta like google adwords where i'd insert my keywords and how much i'd pay per click and after investing $20 I got a sale on Clickbank, but after that I received nothing.
A few months ago I created a facebook page for a niche and bought some likes for the page and ended up getting one sale and after that got absolutely nothing.
It's like I score once and then it goes down hill.

I know email marketing is huge, but i'm not experienced enough to try that out yet.
I know the basics of affiliate marketing like purchasing a domain, installing Wordpress and trying out SEO to rank my website to number one.
I never got that far, I ended up purchasing a domain with GoDaddy and their support was AWFUL and they wouldn't respond to any of my questions so I got screwed on that and gave up for a while.
I'm now back at it for good.
I want to be successful but I need some help in the beginning.
Another thing, I purchased Google Sniper last year and the guides are perfect and go in depth untill it reaches the Google Keyword stuff.
Google changed it into a keyword planner and I do not understand it at all.
It's not easy to use (well for me it wasn't.)

Anyway, after giving y'all some insight on how i've been doing, what do you suggest doing with $100.
This is for affiliate marketing. The website i'm working with is Clickbank.

It seems like most new marketers start off with affiliate marketing with clickbank… let me rephrase that, almost ALL new marketers start off this way.. and that's okay!

What I will tell you is that unless you have a list or a website generating traffic, it can be difficult to get consistent sales with affiliate links.. and you don't want to spam!

So what I would suggest doing is shooting a few solid 2-3 minute YouTube videos that provide some type of real value to individuals in your niche market, and then get that blog up and running. Repost the videos on your blog with 500 word posts, one with each video. Take that $100 and invest in a header banner, side banner and email auto responder like aweber and have individuals optin to your list for a free training video. Over deliver on the video training and upsell your product at the end of the video.

This is a model you can then take and turn into your own training program after you master the system.. and then you can earn much more and move past affiliate marketing

Basically, I would focus on FREE forms of advertising and keep a non-existent budget. Then I would use some of the $100 to pick your spots, here and there.

All of social media networking is free. I'm having a blast in Tumblr getting follow-backs by following others. There's a few good videos in Youtube about it. Also for Youtube, there is a free platform for creating animated videos, and you can make as many as you want. They won't charge you, until you decide to remove their little watermark logo in the corner and their 1.5 second ad jingle at the end of your videos ---> Powtoon.com. I'm using it a lot and its a blast.

I'll also plug one aff link of my own for free text advertising for 8 ads, then $5 or so for unlimited lifetime text ads: AdsVert.com
(hopefully, that link doesn't offend or break rules here, but if it does, let me know).

$100 is not enough to really establish a consistent flow of advertising, but it can be used to supplement a free advertising based plan.

Have you looked into Facebook marketing?

As for Google, not too long ago I was emailed a video as a gift where you can super target traffic, make image affiliate banners, and pay around $0.02 per click with a huge conversion rate. I haven't tried it myself, but I saw the guys Google AdWords panel with all that stuff.

George Brown is coming out with an updated version of Google Sniper -- 3.0 -- in a few days (on Dec. 8th), so you might want to hold on to your money. Also, I can tell you that it's still possible to make money with micro-niche sites (like what George Brown teaches in his course). With that said, I've been doing this so long that I kind of take various things from various courses and kind of make them my own. I'm looking forward to his new course, though.

With $100, you can only depend on free traffic source like SEO or Social Media.

If you're going to use paid traffic, you need at least $1000 and you will lose that amount. $100 is nowhere enough to get enough data to get positive ROI.

Yeah the best way to earn by investing in affiliate marketing is a affiliate network.
Start your own affiliate network business, invite advertisers and affiliates to work with you.
purchase a affiliate network software for the monitoring and communication purpose.
Affiliate network software will do everything for you then.
There are many king of affiliate offers to run with like CPA, CPC, CPM, CPS and much more like content locker and link locker.

Buy a few products from either JV,CB,WF in the same niche something that interest you.

Figure out which one is is the best...

Promote it using free traffic techniques the easiest is YT promote that product...

Take massive action with the product you bought....

Get some type of results with it and promote those results.

My friend Amelia said me how can I go into affiliate marketing just with $100? I suggest her to pick a high converting offer from Warriorplus or Jvzoo. Then buy solo ads and send to your affiliate links.
She actually did what I said and got $96 profit with $100 investment because she is really newbie. but $96 net profit is also well.

But I don't know anyone could could do it

    Save up that cash.

Go work up more capital by providing services like article writing, re-writing, short copywriting, video creation, etc.

Get at least a capital of $1,000 before you start throwing money into business models.

Hey Performance Man FB tends to be hard to convert if linked directly to a FB sales page so I assume by lander you mean a squeeze page followed by an autoresponder sequence. Am I right? Would you kindly elaborate?

That's because you think you're "not experienced enough to learn email marketing". That's where successful affiliate marketing starts.

There are hundreds of threads throughout this forum with titles like "How would you start again?" and "What would you do differently if starting again tomorrow?" and "What was your biggest mistake when you started?", and so on. The one thing they all have in common is that they're packed out with helpful responses from now-successful marketers saying "I'd know that you have to start building a list and doing email marketing right at the start". And there are reasons for that.

You don't need to be experienced to start learning it.

And without starting to learn it, if you want to make any money worth talking about through affiliate marketing, any other experience you get is going to be of very limited value, because it will be lacking the "monetization"/"income-producing" parts of the equation.

As you've perhaps noticed, in the past?

That's because they're horribly out of date and unproductive. The "sniper approach" is dreadful.

Build your list from day 1!

The size of the list is directly related to your income.

Focus on getting a mentor who will teach you step by step how to set up a business.

Don't spend a dime of the money until you have that mentor.

Go through your mentors training. Any good mentor will have tons of free training teaching you how to get started the right way.

I know it might feel likethat $100 is burning a hole in your pocket, but if you don't spend it wisely, it will never repay you.

I started with nothing. Literally and I've made it. You can too!

      Good luck!

LOL well G Sniper is a TERRIBLE product. Absolutely terrible. Sniper sites/niche sites/etc became obsolete in 2009 along with link farms and article directory marketing.

Even if you understood and followed G Sniper to the letter, you wouldn't make money. It's a garbage system rooted in fantasy...not reality. So don't feel bad.

Although the keyword planner is significantly easier to use than the tool was...at least for me.

Anyway, since you have such a tiny budget, and since you have experience with direct linking....my advice is this...and it's probably the best advice given your situation.

    1. Find membership sites on CB to promote. Preferably in niches outside IM/MMO.
    2. Sign up for, or into FB or Bing ads.
    3. Cloak your links with Pretty Link Lite - requires having the plugin installed into your website.
    4. Create a few ad campaigns on FB or Bing. Target specific keywords and actionable keywords that are relevant. You want clicks from people that are most likely ready to buy....not curious clicks or competitors who will click bomb.
    5. Spend your $100 budget.
    6. Make double your money and have recurring monthly sales since you're promoting membership/continuity products on CB.

By far the best thing you can do given your situation, budget, and expectations. You're asking about affiliate marketing so I'm not presenting any other ways to spend your $100.

You could spend your $100 and make 0...but hey, this is the best option for you and will be much faster than dabbling with any other projects with such limited resources.

This is probably the best advice that I have seen on this thread so far. A hundred bucks won't get you too far in the world of paid advertising.

The first time I ever used paid ads, it cost me a couple thousand dollars and that money wasn't to make money, it was just to find some 'areas' that would 'convert' well with what I had to offer.

It cost me a couple thousand just to find a couple of 'sweet' spots.

Just for example sake, let's pretend that there were only 100 internet marketers all marketing the same product to the world.

One 'sweet' spot that I found may convert well for me but the same spot may not convert so well for you even if we were marketing the very same stuff the very same way.

What goes on underneath the surface of everything, is a lot more complexed. It's not just a skill set game but more importantly...

a 'mental' game that directly relates to what is going on 'inside' of us.

I would forget paid ads because you are just 'hoping' to strike it rich with your 100 bucks.

That would be too easy wouldn't it?

Now if you had let's say $10,000 just to learn paid traffic, if you had a product or system that actually could pay you rewarding commissions and not just nickel and dime commissions, you would have the 'potential' to keep reinvesting back into your marketing budget to keep momentum up!

If you can figure this paid stuff out, you would have the potential of becoming an Online Millionaire. But since you only have a hundred bucks, I would forget about paid and go for free!

Go learn (1) FREE Marketing method and master it!

Your success will come from doing this, not what you are marketing.

    1. Get the website online, means you must install wp blog and set plugins, themes.

    2. Advertise your site on forum with signature links.

    3. Try automated syndication content of your blog to many rss, web 2.0, and social networks.

    That's a good start for your $100.

If you hav joined the right affiliate marketing company and be disciplined in your efforts there are many free advertising sources that will build you a monthly income to shoot your advertising efforts with paid advertising. The company I am associated with, a team of 5-6 members is sufficient to earn you financial freedom in due time. what u need to do is learn things which will make your mind strong, which will help you with your commitment, dedication, persistence, perseverance and on and on. These are some traits required to be a successfull buinessman. The people who use only money to attract money are investors and $100 is very little to invest. So go to a mentor...a person or books who helps in building a character out of you and you will be successful in due course of time. wish u luck

  • The best thing you can possibly do as a newbie marketer with only $100 to invest - is create a product and launch it here on the forum for $5 - $7 on the front end and $17 - $27 on the backend upsell.

It's easy to create a product and sound like an expert, all you have to do is reach out to a few experts in different sub-niches within IM and get them to come on board to get interviewed by you. This way all you'll have to do is ask them questions, let them do the talking - and by being on the call people associate you with them.

From that point your write your own sales copy, preferably copying someone who has a similar successful product like yourself. Then from that point you build up some buzz in the forum, and get people onto an email list.

Once you've got them on your list, you tease them and get them excited about the upcoming product of yours.

Then you simply launch your product and generate a good amount of sales out of the gate. This is what I'd do is I had $100 to invest.

Plus the WSO section is only $20 to sell your products there. And remember having your own product allows you to get your money received into your paypal account immediately.

    All the best,
    Michael
