Teespring Goal Question

Just getting into Teespring and had a quick question regarding the campaign goal. If I set the goal to 10 shirts, will the campaign automatically close when that goal is met or do I choose when that happens? In other words, will I be able to set a goal of 10 and still get 500 purchases?

The campaign will close once the time frame you choose is reached. You can continue selling shirts past your goal.

If you reached your goal, you can still sell the tshirt if there's still time left.

As mentioned above the campaign won't close if you sell more shirts.

That being said, you need to have a clear view on how much shirts you can sell, because if you don't reach your goal your efforts will be in vain.

The campaign runs for the duration of the campaign, not the number of sales.

Once the campaign ends (time runs out) sales are calculated. If you met or exceeded your target then the shirts ship and you get paid.

So yes you can keep selling as many shirts as you want as long as the campaign is running.

If you set a low "target" then you pay more for each shirt. So setting a target of 10 will cost more per shirt than setting a target of 100.

You would make more money with a goal of 100 and 150 sales than you would with a goal of 10 and the same 150 sales.

Of course, you make nothing with a goal of 100 and 87 sales....

As everyone else has said, the campaign will run as long as the duration you selected.

One thing I learned is I started goals at 10-20 out of fear of it not working out; lack of faith in myself if you will.

Now every campaign I start I set a goal for 75 or higher.

Worst case scenario I can drop it down when there is 24 hour remaining and I don't think it's going to tip, but that rarely happens. I'll know if a campaign is a loser or a winner within the first 36 hours.
