Do Warrior Forum Banner Ads Work?

Hi warriors,

I run consistent paid advertising campaigns every week for my consulting business & have dismissed Warrior Forum Banner Ads for some time.

Have I been foolish to do so? Any one have experience with them? So far I'm paying $3.00 a click on google adwords.

People are using them time and time again, so it is DEFINITELY working.

    The question is whether or not it will work with YOUR offer - there are 2 ways to find out;

    1. Test and try it out for yourself
    2. Find out people here on the Warrior Forum that have promoted a similar offer to yourself and find out the results they got from it

    Hi,

a few days ago i've read a nice article here...not sure anymore who wrote it...

But this person did a lot of tests and came to the result, that FREE WSO's or Threads got more conversion than the banner ad...

In my opinion i stick with posting Threads, posts and WSO (free and paid)

A banner ad for free WSO will do best conversion then!
In my experience (clicking those banners)... most WF banners will send us to free WSO or free offer for email in exchange, so kind of a late conversion trick (in my opinion).

With regards to Banner Ads it's performance really depends on a lot of factors, but of course it surely is working.

Warriors will not be using them it it's not working.

colors matters, the banner copy matters, time of placement, even the font you use matters. In my experience simple and plain banners converts more. But of course you need to test it out yourself.

Onserve the banners you see, take note or those that causes you to read and even click, study their copy, colors, etc and use it as a model in your banner. TEST TEST TEST!

I can't back this up with anything, but i have the feeling that you will get cheaper clicks than $3 with banner ads here on the forum.

It's only $100 for 24 hours and the forum has a lot of traffic every day, so if you got an interesting offer it's not that hard the get a positive ROI i think...

They work for me. However, you mileage may vary. Banner ads are a great way to gain more exposure. Do you have a product that is needed by warriors. Look at the price. Most low cost products are quick impulse items. However, for high prices that is not our case. Frankly, those are only bought if it is something that the person requires.

I tried to use them before the FL take over and somehow never got a
slot. But one "sneaky" way of finding out if a banner ad is working is
look at the number of repeat users and there's your answer.

There's a very strong inference that they work for the people who are continuing to pay for them?

I suspect that (like almost everything else in marketing) they work well for some people and not so well for others.

It might be possible, by looking at the sites linked to in the ones that appear day after day, to form some kind of overall impression of the types of business for which they appear to work?

I think they do work. I see the same banner ad running for weeks on weeks. I don't think they would be up for so long with they wasn't bringing in some kind of conversions.

They look pretty good to me & I saw a thread where somebody had gotten big results with a WSO banner. It would just have to be an awesome banner that has something great for a good price

I think they work, but I also think low cost/free WSOs work better. That's just me though.

Each banner ad receives a high number of impressions every day. Compelling offers for the Internet Marketers and online business owners always get the best results and click through rates.

Once you submit a banner ad, we usually approve them within 24 hours. If your banner ad is rejected, we send you an email with the reason so you know what's going on. You can test the waters with a 1 day banner ad and scale up to 3, 7 and 30 days when you're ready. Banner ads over 30 days receive a 10% discount.

Let me know if you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

Some work. Some don't. It depends on how it's designed. Some advertisers seem to think the goal is to cram as many images and clever words in them as possible while others understand the actual goal of banner advertising in a warm market. That is to get the click.

But that's only half of the "do they work" formula. What the clicker finds on the other side of the ad is important. I've seen oh so many really awful landing pages. The biggest issue with them? Not having a compelling, benefit oriented message that makes the visitor want to opt in.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I decided to try it for 1 day at $100. I received the following email last night. However I'm having one problem. I checked the rotation of the banners "view all ads" and noticed by banner isn't appearing at all. I've contacted support & have my fingers crossed.

    "Hi Geeked Labs,

Thank you for purchasing banner advertising on Warriorforum.com (Top Banner). Your ad has been approved and is scheduled to go live on Monday 12/08/2014 EST.

I just double checked it and it is currently running.

With the email date, the banner ad is scheduled sometime on that day, depending on when other banners have run their course. When we have capacity, the banner ad starts showing straight away. Our capacity is 11 banners for the top banner ad on the Warrior Forum.

We have the bottom banner position as well and you can also advertise on Freelancer.com using the banner ad system.

If you see the banners running, they are working for someone.

I would suggest running a short test to see for yourself. If the ROI works out, keep them running!

I've read somewhere that someone has split tested top and bottom and it appeared that the bottom banner converted higher funny enough ;-)

      Interesting!

I can see why the bottom would produce a higher CTR with it being so close to the quick reply button...but that would suggest a lower conversion rate due to accidental clicks.

It would be interesting to know for definite.

I plan on using the banner ad on warrior forum soon, I think this is an awesome community of internet marketers so whether it works or not is completely depending on the type of offer or site being promoted.

I occasionally click the banner ads that are both on top and one the bottom, but only if it has a very powerful Call to Action. If it says,"Rank PR1 Instantly!" Then I'll click on it in a heartbeat. However, if it says,"cool technique to boost your seo", then that's lame and I won't even look at it.

I've ran an ad here before for 1 day. Got great results. But you're competing with other advertisers too. So make sure your ad stands out, and that it's geared towards those who are looking for internet marketing help... not necessarily how to *start* a business help.
