INTERNET MARKETING

What's the preferred C.C processing companies most would use for accepting payments on their sites, and the preferred choice of companies when paying others.

1: which company do you prefer to use when accepting payments?
2: which company do you prefer to use when paying others?

If you want to take "small payments" online, from others, it's more or less essential to be able to take PayPal payments (that doesn't mean that you necessarily need a PayPal account yourself: there are services like 2Checkout through which you can do it without having one), because so many people want and expect to pay that way.

  Thanks

Although I wish there were more alternatives, PayPal is trusted by most online buyers, and seems to be the standard in the industry. I have been hoping for years that someone would overtake them, as the new King of payment processing, but it hasn't happened.

Most answered "PayPal".

If you want to get paid from loads of people e.g: 5,000+ people monthly, choose other payment processor like 2CheckOut.

Dealing with clients, Paypal is always the preferred method, so I have stuck with it, even though there have been a few minor hitches over the years.

The Business Model I'm involved in has VXGateway as one of their processors. VXGateway has to be the best one I've used to date as the dashboard is user friendly and so easy to use, especially linking to my UK bank account.

Agreed. From a technical perspective, Stripe is by far my favorite. Their APIs are robust and very well documented. Compared to so many other payment processors Stripe is a pleasure to work with.

Really doesn't matter what we like or not. Most buyers prefer to pay with PayPal because of the TRUST factor. To have a viable online business, most of the time, PayPal is a necessity.
