I.Mer's Think Lazy and Grow Rich? ... Hope for Lazy I.Mer's

If you're a lazy internet marketer, there's still hope for you. Despite the hypey thread title. It seems to be a true statement in this new economy. Marketing to lazy people is the new (starving crowd) "gold rush". So, are you appealing to this growing demand? Don't fight it -- highlight it.

Easy ... Easier ... Convenient are some of the most powerful marketing words today.

Now that the 'Genie' is out of the bottle, it almost guarantees the market for products and services for lazy people will grow ... even explode!

Think about it. Even if you're not a lazy person overall, you're lazy at something, right? So is everyone, and most are willing to pay 'big' not to have to do some boring, routine or even "yucky" task - whatever market you're in.

So, start thinking lazy ... it could soon make you busier -- making bucks.

Maybe , maybe not. But if you can push a button you can save time or inconvenience. I bet you've push some button today, haven't you? ... or maybe even paid someone to do it for you.

Actually, since the Garden of Eden. Remember how easy and convenient the Serpent made the fruit to Eve. In fact, he made it appear a lot easier to bite the fruit than to not bite it. Ease and convenience was a major appeal even back then.

Even the caveman was lazy (at least his ancestors probably said so), because he chiseled out a wheel so he wouldn't have to lift and carry everything by hand or on the back of his animal.

I think instant gratification is a term used mostly by the over 40 generation. If you're 40 and under it's the pleasure principle or living to the max.

There was an interesting example in Stephen Covey's book "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". Before instant gratification become the new black, there was a thing called "virtue of hard work".

Hard work and struggling to get what you want was actually cool. It was as cool as it is "The Secret" today. Then came LOA and the other 1480 variations of it.

If you think about it, there was a time when sending a letter actually involved getting an envelope, writing the letter, putting it into the envelope and dropping it at the post office. A time when if you wanted to buy the latest album of what was hip then, you would actually have to go to the record store, not on iTunes. And if you wanted to earn money you would have to ... actually get dressed, apply for a job and go there, five days a week, 9 - 5.

Now everything is about instant gratification. How to get from A to B easier, faster, cheaper. And it is a key principle of IM since it was first created. Before "How To Make $15.000/Month From Your Computer" type of ads existed, there were "How To Earn $15.000/Month By Having Other People Sell Amazing Products For You" (MLM).
