Best Source of QUALITY traffic/clicks?

Hi guys....
I'm weary of Social Media marketing. What I'm in has automation coming soon, (all I do is submit product or biz associate videos for the rotator).
However, I'd like to drive some extra traffic to my offer.
I have tried:
Craigslist
PPC
Email
Instagram
Forums
Facebook ads
Facebook pages
Facebook Groups
and every other social platform under the sun.

Seriously is there something that someone has ACTUALLY had good results from for a business opportunity?

Thanks in advance
~Lorraine

Google! Nothing beats traffic from search engines. Unless your contents are obscure.

I'm super new to this forum (note this is my second post ... building posts here ...). However, I operate a pretty successful website (Alexa rating: 155,000). The overwhelming majority of my traffic come from Facebook, followed by Pinterest, followed by Google. I've never paid for ads. I'm just very active on social networks, resulting in being invited to community pages that support my niche. These additions to popular boards/pages, combined with scheduling tools allows for a lot of free promotion to a large collection of people in my niche.

That's a good selection of effective marketing tools, Lori.

What exactly have you done as far as you listing "email"?

Are you referring to optin email list advertising or something else?

Well it varies...I have an email list of 2300 for my makeup biz. (effective)

And I've paid for email blasts to gurus lists. (not effective at all)

    Hi Lorraine,

I'd say that it's still very brief to start suggesting other options just at this point. Have you done any tracking with these campaigns lately to figure out how much you're paying per click/conversion/subscriber/customer?

Do you have a squeeze page and sales funnel in place?

I'd hazard a guess that the traffic source is not the problem in this equation.

If you've actually spent money on all of those
advertising sources and have had poor results
then I would think the offer isn't any good.

1st look at why your offer is not converting.

Because if you've truly employed all of those traffic getters and can't make it work. it's likely not the traffic.

Then, to have nice steady traffic for years to come you could focus on videos. They work great.

Google is best if you do SEO but if you need instant results then Facebook might be a good option but I doubt if you get better conversion rate.

Sounds like the issue is likely with the ad copy you're using or that the copy on the landing page you're sending them to isn't compelling enough. Or that the offer isn't targeted to the places/keywords you're running the ads on.

  • In terms of quality NOTHING and I truly mean this... NOTHING beats out Youtube traffic. That's by far the highest quality clicks I've ever received. I've had EPCs as high as $14 from YT. I've used (and still do) Facebook PPC, Solo Ads, Bing Ads, Yahoo Stream Ads, and Craigslist and YouTube reigns king of them all. =)

Ironically... its the one FREE traffic source I use haha.

I get most of my traffic and conversions from Google and Youtube.
If you optimize your videos and website you will get ton loads of
traffic from these 2 traffic methods

    IMHO
Your lacking Focus by spreading yourself thin over multiple channels of advertising.
LASER focus on one channel, learn everything about it, fine tune copy, track everything,
BUT always stay focused on that channel.

Once mastered you can then look at other channels to expand your range.

It can be frustrating when you don't get the results you want first go,
DIG in look at your ads, landing pages etc and have another go.

Eventually you'll hit the winner and from there its just replication.

Choose the channel you like the most first.
If you like making video then choose youtube.
If your a social person then dig in to Facebook etc
If your like me and love the short ad stuff then ppc is the go.

Play to your strengths but always focus and never give up, your one campaign away from success.

Take care and have fun, Hope that helps.

    Blogs are Big for Traffic

Like forums, blog commenting is about driving traffic back to your opt-in page. Unlike forums, the point of blog commenting often isn't to answer a question. It's to weigh in on the blog with your own thoughts.

Just like in the forum, don't forget to use this opportunity to drive traffic. So your comment must include a link to your opt-in page.

It all depends on how the blogger set up the commenting function, but you'll usually be able to do one or more of these:
    • Link your username - the nickname that appears at the top of the comment - to your opt-in page.
    • Use a link right inside the comment. Don't overdo this!
    • "Sign" all of your comments with your opt-in page URL. Just put the link under your name at the end of the comment.
    • On blogs where links in comments are not allowed, create a profile and fill out the "URL" section with the link to your opt-in page. If you consistently post good comments, people will check out your profile and click on that URL.
This is a great quality source to drive traffic!

Sounds like you need to get a website as you had an affiliate link in your signature apparently. Make 3-4 posts a week about your business & be sure to share it to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc. everytime that you do. It may take a little while but eventually you will gain new customers & develop a following for your products

Best traffic is "live" traffic - not bought, but natural. The sources of natural traffic was mentioned earlier - google, FB, G+, twitter etc.
