Before you go into ANY niche you need to do some
    research for yourself.

Since you're a newbie, you should start out by learning
as much as you can on internet marketing techniques.

Study them hard. Become an expert.

Only then will you be able to pick a niche and be able to
    legitimately teach others.

Firstly you should find a niche ,and then you can buy a domain for the niche .You can't just buy a domain without niche research

The only thing relevant to that domain would be make money online type products and to honest, if you don't know how to make money online, how can you teach others to make money online?

Hey. Tried to check out the website but wouldn't load for some reason? Sounds like a decent name but like incomer better I'de say it just needs to be something that is short, relates to what you are selling, & should be easy to remember. As far as a niche, I would go into the hobby, dating, health, etc & just make sure that it is either something that people need or people want to find out about. As far as making money with it, you should use adsense, amazon, autoresponder, clickbank, cpa offers, hosting, etc & add content every few days in order to build up your list. It may take a year to get enough traffic to make a living but stick with it & it should pay off for you

I don't know what you or your friend had in mind for the domain, but rarely is it a good idea to start a business simply because the domain you have "suggests" a particular market.

Since you can register a domain at almost any time for a couple of dollars, it would be smart for you to set the domain aside and research (as others have said) where there might be consumer demand for a particular solution or desire. That's the place to begin looking for a niche and a business idea to sell something into that niche.

There are many, many wonderful dot com names available in every niche so that one aspect of creating a business should be the least of your worries in the beginning.

Use the threads and resources on this and other sites to learn how to do market research. Find some consumer demand that you can address in a way that takes advantages of your own interests, skills, education, training, connections, or hobbies and you will be miles ahead of most newbies who simply "choose" to enter a crowded market.

      The very best to you,

      Steve

Make a list of things that you know about and are interested in. From there, see which of those interests seem to support a healthy helping of products (Clickbank, JVZoo, Offervault are good places to start).

Later on, you can branch out into niches that make good money, even if you're not interested in them. But the struggle from newbie to newbie-making-money can take some time and energy. You'll have a much easier time if you start with something you're A) interested in and B) has a market of paying buyers and good offers.

This part couldn't be any more on point. I always tell people to start with what they know or have a strong interest in.

With a domain with a name like that, you need to choose a niche like make money online
or internet marketing. It is important that the domain name is specific to the
niche you are in.For example i wouldn't expect you to set up a weight loss site
    with a domain like that.

He could brand it as "Income exercise, Outgo Calories"

I'm having trouble finding a relevant meaning to the "RD" in the domain name.

    What are you passionate about?
What can you see yourself doing?

Why'd you buy the domain before you knew the niche? It should always be done in reverse. Pick a niche and THEN the domain.

Usually when it comes to picking niches my criteria is:

    1. I have to like the topic or be somewhat interested in it.
    2. The niche must have passionate people in it.
    3. The niche must have a problem where people have a burning desire to find a solution to that problem. ex: losing weight, making more money, etc.

    Good luck!

i think you should not try to reinvent the wheel. go with the big niches. go with passion niches not hobby niches.
    health
    wealth
    relationships
    ===========
but go specifc. instead of lose weight, go with lose weight in upper arm for women. long tail keywords.
