INTERNET MARKETING

HI,
I need a fast web host, that allows about 1.5 meg memory. I saw on that charged $5.00 per month,but can not find it again...I have a site that takes a lot of memory and has up to 40k hits per day.

Hostingzoom might work for you. But if you're worried about traffic and cost, a VPS from Bluehost or Softlayer is an option too.

  With that kind of traffic, you should be able to monetize your site beyond only being able to afford $5 per month for hosting. Your website is the heart of everything you do online. Have a bit more pride in your hosting platform. Look into at least a VPS if not a dedicated server and stay away from the many newly acquired AEG hosting companies as their support and reaction to server-wide problems (malicious code, hackers) has deteriorated.

Reputable VPS providers include Wiredtree, FutureHosting and KnownHosts as well. Check the VPS offers at webhostingtalk.com for great discounts.

You should look for ssd hosting, ssd hosting offers faster server performance and executes data 800x times faster than HDD.

Take a look at Webhostingtalk.com for some reviews and you should be able to find some coupons there as well. With $5 a month for what you are trying to host, it does not sound reliable. You could take a look at Stablehost.com or even Hostdime.com. They both have really good service.

I highly recommend Linode, which has been around for over 10 years. Look at reviews - they are excellent both in terms of performance, reliability and customer support. Plans start at $10.

Also, "hits" doesn't really mean anything, you could have 30 hits, 500 hits, 20K hit or 100K hits and you probably won't notice a difference. You need to find out what your resource usage is in terms of CPU utilization & memory.

Does your site(s) use a database?

What type of site(s)?

In terms of price, keep in mind that you'll end up getting what you pay for. Pay peanuts, expect monkeys. Also do your research on the companies you narrow it down to. Chances are, you most likely just need a good shared host.

It seems to me venetx.com and a2hosting.com are able to meet the needs of the OP.
There are many useful resources in their plans which help to run websites successfully.
Prices are rock-bottom. Support works fine around the clock.
