I'm curious to see what peoples opinions are about the best IM model to use virtual assistants with,. I realize any model could use them but which ones work the best?

Thanks!

Test and trial what's currently working for you. If there are any ares that could do with assistance, then outsource it. There's really no point in teaching a VA to do something if you haven't gone out and tested it yourself.

I wouldn't hire someone to jump into another niche or do something that I have no clue about. It just doesn't make business sense to me. If you're experienced in certain areas, test it, see consistency, break even or get into profit and then consider outsourcing it.

At last count I had 68 models farmed to VAs. I'd have to divulge the models to say more, but generally speaking: anything time-intensive, repetitive, simple.

You can farm out grunt work to them. There's a lot of grunt work in marketing.

Why limit yourself to VAs? Yes, they're cheaper, but they're hardly the only option for increasing your capacity. Our (tiny) staff is all North America-based. Yes, at $15 - $20/hour, it's a bit more expensive -- but not overly so. And for us at least, their skills, experience, work quality and the knowledge of our market makes them a bargain at that price.

I'm not suggesting my way is better, but it seems short-sighted to focus only on VAs. After all, if your business model requires hiring someone at $20/hour, but you're able to make $25/hour from their labor, you're still coming out ahead.
