What's the simplest way to "crunch" analytics, traffic numbers, etc.?
I'm setting my VA up to take over traffic generation tasks for my site starting in January. In preparation of that, I'm trying to find an easy way for her to know what's she's doing that's working and what's not.
Google Analytics is pretty intimidating and has a lot of extraneous info that will take a lot of time to sift through (time that I'm paying for). So, I'd love some suggestions about a simple way to set things up for her so we get daily feedback on her efforts. (Caveat: I'm a right-brained analytics idiot. Looking at spreadsheets gives me a headache, so be gentle
)
I'm thinking there are two ways to go:
* OPTION 1: Some kind of personalized report with GA that we can access that has only the key metrics
or
* OPTION 2: Some outside service or program that crunches GA numbers and presents them in an easy to access way.
My questions:
* which of these would you use?
* if it's option 1, what are the key metrics to look at?
* if it's option 2, what are these services?
