Is it possible to make $100 a day online?

Hello Warriors,

I'll save you the sob story. Basically I'm a 12 hour a day worker and I've been trying to make this online thing happen for 4 years now. I've invested over $3000 trying to 'Make it happen' online. I'm reaching the end of my tether, I've read hundreds of ebooks, I've tried affiliate marketing, Ebay, Fiverr, Social traffic, SEO, CPA, POF, Product creation, Amazon affiliation, Coaching programs, Membership websites, PLR, everything.

Guys I'm speaking to you from the heart of a broken and battered internet marketer.
I only want responses from people who are actually making $100 online.

Will you help me?

Did you have no success at all in any of the things you tried?

The problem with reading and copying the methods in ebooks is that everybody uses the same methods, and frankly, you can't compete with a hoard of other marketers doning the same thing.

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe that everything is oversatured, if it was how are people constantly making money?
The only thing that has worked for me EVER was sending a $40 solo ad to a CPA offer. I made $4

If this is the best you've done... It's important to point out that this is actually a success over everything else you have tried.

What you should do now is try to answer the following questions:

        1. What did you do correctly?

        2. What did you do incorrectly?

        3. What can you correct for next time?

To give you an extra hand answering...

        1. You found a traffic source that proves to have real people, not bot traffic. Otherwise, you wouldn't have earned that $4.

        2. You didn't collect the contact information of the traffic you purchased. This means that no matter what you do, the traffic is a one-shot deal.

        3. Set up a squeeze page that encourages visitors to share their contact information, so you have direct contact with people who have shown interest in what you have to offer.

Your post indicates you have shiny object syndrome.

What is the longest amount of time you've spent on any one particular method?

That's what I was thinking. You need to learn how to stay focused with one, two or three platforms that work for you. And if they're not working right away, stick with them. Make mistakes, learn from there, try new things...

Internet marketing is not impossible. It simply requires a lot of patience, as well as trial and error.

Trying one of this and one of that and then quickly moving on after a few days or week is no way to build a lasting business. To truly succeed you need to find one good thing to do, something you are truly passionate about (and good at) and stick with that; figure out who your customers are and market to them.

Also, you have to focus on building your email list of potential customers, otherwise you are forever relying on one off traffic that never leads to anything.

This is true whether you are selling a product or service or simply freelancing.

You make a good point. I suppose the longest I've tried any method is my current method which is trying to create my first product to sell. Only problem is I don't feel qualified to teach people stuff.

My shiny object syndrome isnt as bad as it used to be, but it did once rule me tremendously.

What business did you start that didn't work out?

Stop chasing "methods" and do something serious.

I think I kind of overthink things? I think of every reason why a model wont work and never end up implementing it so I buy another method. I've basically bought every method now though and so it's all repetitive when I see new products now.

I really dont know what 'method' I should use... I'm just so all over the place. I feel overloaded

Did you have any leadership in the past, or just going from "make money with this and this and this?..."

Most people fall into that, and sure some strategies work, but they don't implement a structure for their business. There's no sales funnel, or no system in place i.e. a foundation in order to help you grow as an Online Marketer.

There are numerous ways to make money online, however... bouncing from 1 thing to the next isn't going to get you anywhere. You need to be consistent, look up to those more successful than yourself and reverse engineer them.

I think that it would be in your best interest to take everything that you have gone through now, and build a structure for your business. It's a lot of work, it shouldn't be easy and especially at the beginning.

Assess what leaders in your niche are doing and do it yourself. Start branding and implement a solid structure and the rest will come into place.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I have not actually had 'leadership' as you say. I've been going at it alone all this time, I don't know where to find a good leader, thats why I came here.

E-books are not a guarantee for success my friend. It's just an introduction in the matter, but you yourself need to master it.

Test it, check the results. Work fine - great, if not repeat until it works.

My family is not the primary inhibitor of my time, work and university are. Of course I have shared with my family and friends my excitement over making money online and basically I'm just considered a fool for trying to 'Make money online', but I don't blame them. $3000 invested and $4 made. I do look foolish

    Mate, Been there too

There a million ways to make a $100 a day. I won't list any as your probably aware of them all.

The trick is simple, Pick one and STICK TO IT!

Keep going until you make it a success.

Any System will work if your focused enough to make it work. This might be hard to hear but its YOU that's holding you back.

Truly believe in the way you choose to make that $100 a day and then go for it.
Don't get disappointed at failures as they are valuable lessons on the way, be excited
that something didn't work too well because your now one step closer to making it happen.

Stay Focused, Never Give up, believe in yourself and play to your strengths.

    Best wishes mate,

It seems you have tried a lot of things, but the main question to ask is: Do you have the foundation in place?

You can learn a lot of things, but the main method to make money hasn't changed:
-> You set up a sales funnel and build your lsit
-> You send targeted traffic to that funnel
-> You test and tweak to increase your profits

So what i would like to know if you are building your list, do you have an offer to promote and are you sending targeted traffic to that offer? With this in place all the methods you learned can be used to drive more traffic, build a bigger list and sell more products.

Sounds like you need a break from it all. Maybe just find a good web designer or web marketing agency in your town and offer to send leads to them for commission sales in return. It's simple and you've had enough experience in four years to spot a horrible website and web marketing strategy when you see one. Find someone locally you like and respect and bring them the business to implement. You'll average $250 to $400 per sale easy and it can all be done while taking a break from pushing product sales or "working the systems" you mentioned.

It definitely is possible. You have to have tons of traffic and a high converting product. If you have both then getting to $100 a day and then beyond that becomes easy.

Focus first on creating something that converts extremely well. (squeeze page and sales page)...and then focus on generating traffic to those pages.

I know the other posters are asking you questions but they are very relevant questions.

Have you been actually doing income producing activities for the full four years now?

Income producing activities are stuff like generating 'targeted' traffic to your landing / squeeze / lead capture pages.

Targeted traffic are the type of people looking for what you have to offer.

Any other traffic will not convert and is a waste of time.

Learning, watching training videos and reading books are NOT income producing activities.

Here is a recipe for success:

    1) Pick (1) system, opportunity or product (that pay out commissions high enough to meet your needs)

    2) Pick (1) marketing method that you feel that you could do. Master it.

    3) Put aside time everyday: 1 - 2 hours if you have a one year goal. 4 - 6 hours (or more) per day if you want to make a break through within the next 90 days.

And do this consistently, don't give up and don't give in to your mind because it will try to 'talk' you out of reaching your 'vision'.

    4) Personal development (Daily): Now this is where you listen to your audio's, training material, motivational and personal development material. This stuff must be done every day but in your downtime like: Commuting, transit, jogging and even before you go to bed..

This final step is just as important as the 1st one. This is 'shaping' your mind or 'mindset' so that you stay 'focused', enthusiastic and know that you deserve the things that you are asking for.

God or the 'Universe' always gives you more than you ask for.

But not until you 'realize' that you are 'deserving' of them.

    I market a System, so I don't always make $100 per day.

However, there are some days where I make that and others where I could experience a $500 or even a thousand dollar day.

    It fluctuates.

Hope this helps all who read it.

Hi Rory, thanks for putting together such an awesome post. I wish someone would have given this advice to me sooner. Speaking from experience you can waste years reading ebooks, watching videos to learn how to do IM, But until you get your head right and sit down and map out the steps you need to do consistently (based on the business model you have chosen) you will be stuck in your current situation for years to come. I'm not there yet but I'm going to keep doing the right things. Change your mindset, take Action and you will achieve your dreams.

Yes, with KINDLE. All you need is a good idea and an outline and other people will do the rest. From text to cover to social media promotions, you can get all that through outsourcing.

The best part of this is it is all PASSIVE INCOME. Publish once, make money many times over.

It seems as if you've done a little bit of everything. I think that might be your problem.

I think you need to focus on one thing and I know that's easier said than done.

My advice? The next $3k you spend, invest it on a mentor or coach.

You just mentioned the problem without realizing it. Information overload.

Try one thing at a time. And when I say try I do not mean to start it up and stop.

Try till your eyes bleed FOCUSING ON ONE METHOD PER TIME.
That's the only way to say if a method works or not.

    Good luck

It is time to sit down, take a deep breath and ask yourself - what you really want to do.

What is the single thing in this world that you feel extreme pride in doing?

It is not about others telling you what you have to do, YOU have to ask yourself what you want to do in your life.

To me, you are already a successful internet marketer because you already know all the things that will lead to failure - and it is no less than success. Man you have 4 years of experience behind you.

You know what not to do to fail.

You already know all the things you don't have to do that will not help you make $100/day. Now instead of trying something new, stick to a model that you have already invested resources in. But this time, don't do what you did in the past.
You will either succeed or learn a new way of not earning money.
Just keep omitting those ways that do not let you reach your target, you will soon get a formula that will be free from failures.

And you write so well. Why don't you consider going back to writing articles and you will be making your bucks? All you need is the connections, boost your patience with this venture and market. I guess you are a good marketer too, as I can view from this post replies. Basically you have everything you need to make a living online, like i do; writing.

Thank you for the kind words, I've considered starting a blog because I know the 'Theory' on how to monetize it and I do enjoy writing as well.

My problem is I've accidentally build psychological barriers against what I perceive to be a risk. For example:

I buy a product, I learn all the information, I think of a million reasons for why the method wont work and then don't implement it because most methods require a further investment so I buy another method. I've been chasing the golden nugget or the 'Cookie that makes you lose weight.' It doesn't exist.

most people give up too early. they see no traffic and decide that enough is enough, keep at it and you should - get somewhere eventually. If not, then it's a site for Flippa.

It is possible but you need to find one niche that you are willing to stick with for at least 6 months & add content 3-4 times a week until you get enough traffic to start making sales

    Here's the problem:

I've read hundreds of ebooks, I've tried affiliate marketing, Ebay, Fiverr, Social traffic, SEO, CPA, POF, Product creation, Amazon affiliation, Coaching programs, Membership websites, PLR, everything
    Here's the solution:

-> You set up a sales funnel and build your lsit
-> You send targeted traffic to that funnel
-> You test and tweak to increase your profits

I started trying to make money online seriously 2 years ago...

I also bought system after system...

I studied everything I could find and tried every product I could get my hands on.

I worked 12 to 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, trying every “make money online” product out there. I lost over $16,500.00

I built websites, wrote articles, run a blog, tried affiliate programs, built a (small) email list… but NOTHING worked.

Until one day I found real online business

It had all the elements I needed…
This idea is not something new or revolutionary. What do Google, Bing, and FB sell? Traffic...
Having a “Traffic” business is like having a gas station.

    So this is my story....
I make living onlime more than one year...

Yes it's possible to get at least $100 a day even if you are newbie (but you already know everything because you bought a lot of products)...

... now choose one niche that you like the most and be #1 expert in this niche.

The solution is that you need to be focus - you need to master only one thing you don't need to be expert in all things.

    Don't give up, never!

Well i am not going to speak about Affiliate marketing becuase i am quite sure many can do many times that amount per day but the learning curve its not short in terms of time spent and investment.

So i will speak about something basic as long as you have time available, Fiverr the $5 business model, i can tell you that myself in the first person achieved from $50 (in my worst days) and in my best days i did 30 orders with an average per order of $8 , so a gross of $240 daily.

But you will not get this amount like a blast, you will need to work like in any business, to me the most important to is consider yourself as a brand, make a video about your gigs, make extended videos in youtube explaining in detail the gig , the FAQs what you really offer, what your customers will expect from the GIG, etc , Also cross promote in your videos other GIGs that you will have. A normal client to me will buy the gig he searched plus 3 or 4 more GIGs that will help his business. Ok this is not affiliate marketing, this is hands on. Of course you can increase earnings by outsourcing and work as the middle man, i also have done that to about 70% of my gigs this will bring the best value with lowest time consuming but on the other hand you will need to research a lot about your suppliers and test them in yourself before buying for your customers, because if something goes wrong you may lose that client and his friends.... Well FIVERR its like anything else if someone likes your service will tell their family, friends, co-workers, etc so burning one guy will not burn only 1 gig but probably a few dozens of them... I will give you an example on the bright side i put live one gig about Etsy promotional stuff, went to etsy forum and promote it.... in that day had 3-5 orders.... after a week my Etsy GIG was my top 3 GIG of the 20 with an estimated monthly impressions of 20k for each 30 days, so after a month it bring me about 100 orders monthly, so people talked with their friends how my gig is awesome! I can tell you that i still have clients that buy me about $100 per GIG (with all the extras that i offer).

So making $100 its feasible but you need to work in order to reach your goal.

        It's a service performed.

Fiverr's services start at $5, which is what the company's name is based on and can go up to thousands of dollars with Gig Extras. Each service offered is called a "Gig".

Some years ago I had 25 different niches, and in average they made between 10 - 200$ a day.

Now I just focus on one niche, and I make 4 times that amount of money.

The main reason, I LOVE MY NICHE!!

For me it is cars, I just love them. So when I started with it, I made less money as before. But in time it went up and up. Because I kept going, because I loved the topic!!

If you want to make money, do what you like, promote what you love, follow your passion.

If you start working on something you not like at all, it will be difficult to go on with it, when success is not coming straight away.

    Good luck.

Of course I have shared with my family and friends my excitement over making money online and basically I'm just considered a fool for trying to 'Make money online', but I don't blame them. $3000 invested and $4 made. I do look foolish
I give you credit for being realistic and honest.

New marketers love nothing more than to tell friends and family how great internet marketing is. They love talking about riches they will have - talking about the easy work load and the IM lifetyle...and they far too often develop an attitude of "working online is superior" and "people with JOBS are inferior".

I hope you didn't go that far as it's a foolish thing to do. Until you earn money consistently online - your claims about riches and lifestyle sound like nothing more than a dream to those who don't anyone about it. Very few wannabe marketer "get" that - but you seem to understand it.

Stop putting yourself down - and stop asking for vague help. There are probably a half dozen "can I earn $50-$100-$1000" titles on this forum every week and often the same people answer these threads.

Some of the answers are good - some not so much. In the end, you are building YOUR BUSINESS. YOU have to decide which method to start with.

If you choose one method - it doesn't have to be that method forever....but you have to work it long enough to master it. Trying this, that and the other for a few weeks (or months) each isn't the way to do it.

Pick ONE method - ignore everything else and learn everything you can about how to best build a business using the ONE method. Work up a plan and a timeline and list of the necessary daily/weekly/monthly work you need to do to make that ONE method succeed.

Don't ask "will this work"? Ask detailed questions about the process as you run into problems or ask for detail explanation of a task you don't understand.

In your case I think you should also keep a log of what you do each day...nothing fancy - just a general amount of time you spend doing each task during the day. You may find what you see as a full day of work has far too much time devoted to reading emails, cruising Google or forums or YouTube, etc. Be honest with yourself about your work habits and fix any problems you might have.

Stop waiting for others to tell you what to do - and DECIDE for yourself what area you want to start in. In 6 months you can master an IM method and make it reliably profitable. Then, if you choose, you can move on to another method until you find one that CLICKS for you and excites you with potential every day.

You're actually doing better than most who enter internet marketing, in terms of investment.

$3,000 over 4 years spent? Many people spend that in one shot with just one coach!

In all of the disciplines that you mentioned, there are many people earning $100 & more per day, so no problem there.

        You say you're feeling overloaded.

        Well, here's my advice..

Reading another ebook or watching another video doesn't seem to be the answer. If it was, then you'd be much richer based on the amount of IM products you've invested in.

You won't make money by reading and watching.

You've got to take more focused action & be consistent with it.

        How do you do that?

Have someone help you in holding yourself accountable. Now, I don't suggest you go and spend boatloads of money on a coach, but you could really use one right now.

Take the discipline that you have an interest in and find someone in this forum who is currently making money with it, has a very good track record, and is affordable.

Focus and consistent action with a proven formula will make you money. You just need to hold yourself accountable...and it's difficult sometimes doing it "alone".

Don't leave it at this post.

Make sure you take someone's advice here and get moving on one thing, then build from there.

Before you know it, you'll be the one answering this question in a thread instead of asking it.

If your goal is $100 a day, then shut off your computer and get a job at a grocery store. If you stuck at that for 4 years, you would be making at least $100 a day. If that covers your bills, you would still have several hours a day to work on your online biz, and you wouldn't have the Sword of Damocles hanging over you, which is going to kill your creative mojo.

The best thing you can do is do one at a time
because you will focus on it more and give more time to what you are doing.
Just learning about stuff is not enough you have to take action
most of the people just learn and don't take action
People do make 100$ per day but to reach that stage you have to focus on one thing at a time and be patient.

Sure. Even on a slow day. But you always will move thing to thing. Check out CPA marketing and learn about media buying. Or look into something called a GPT website. Or buying popups and reselling CPC/CPM. Lots of things you can do but nothing ever lasts very long: people run out of budgets, quality is low, advertisers will revamp funnels, etc.

I use something called Offerit to track everything I do. I don't actually have any affiliates.

Here is from today from my earnings, best of luck.

Yes, very doable. My suggestion: pick 2-3 things and stick to them. I can't add much beyond what others have said. I will say that some people make the mistake of endlessly pursuing a "magic formula" or a "silver bullet" that will help them achieve their goals instead of simply applying the good ol elbow grease. I'm not accusing you of this but you do seem have tried a large number of different things in a span of 4 years.

How much you invest has nothing to do with how much you can make. Don't read any more ebooks and stop trying various methods. I think I invested about a $100 when I started for domains, hosting and a premium theme. I read no ebooks and took no classes - I was too impatient to get started. Even now, I only listen to podcasts - you can get all the info you need from them for free, btw, and only when I'm winding down from real work. I'm almost at 5K a month now and I know I'll break it next month. It's not crazy income, but it is stable and 90% passive.

    Here's exactly what I do:

All you need to do is think to yourself: What is a very hungry market? I'm sure you can identify a group of people who are desperate for a solution to something or have a super strong need of something. Once you got it, niche it down. Off the top of my head, here are some niches - gaining weight targeted toward men, new moms who want to make sure their babies grow up smarter and healthier, students and entrepreneurs looking for natural ways to boost brain function and concentration.

These are all pretty specific, I think that works best. When picking a market, make sure you can actually monetize it. With the above examples, you can sell a huge range of supplements as well as your own info products eventually, with AdSense to keep you monetized until you create your own product.

Once you've got your market - choose a hungry market you're actually interested in - go to work getting inside your market's head. What forums are they on? What questions are they asking and not getting the answers to? And how can YOU make life easier for them by providing simple, super helpful answers.

Do a LOT of research. Then do a massive brain dump on paper of everything you've learned about what your market is looking for.

Next, sift through that brain dump and organize them into content silos - this is when you'll be doing keyword research to find what exact words your market is using to search for these questions of theirs.

Next, use the KWs and ideas to come up with a list of content to be written. Write these yourself if you have to or if you can spare the cash, outsource it. Either way - make sure your articles are the best ones that currently exist on that topic.

Churn out a bunch of articles - around 20 - make social media profiles for the site, and then wait for a month or two.

Repeat the same process again for a new niche, new site while you're waiting.

Go back to your first site, see if it's picking up any traffic - if it is, load up another 20 or so articles. Start spreading the word about your site on relevant forums, doing some comment backlinks, etc.

Once you have some traffic, see what content your audience likes and craft more of it. Do more outreach for backlinks. See what's popular and trending in your niche and replicate it (use BuzzSumo). Start building a list. And don't build shady blackhat backlinks. Remember it takes time for a new site to gain traction so be patient and when you feel yourself growing doubtful and impatient, just forget about that site for awhile and go create another one.

Sites (without shady backlinks) only get really fun after around 1 year-ish so really give it time and use the waiting time to create more potential income streams for yourself.

Hope that helped. Now get off this forum and get to work!

I was in your shoes before for years too. How did I get out of it? At a point I trash everything, then I sat down to talk real sense to myself.
What exactly do you want, rat race or making money? Which of these numerous systems were you able to flow with naturally? Put aside your excitement due to the huge amount (to be made) been promise by one system or another. Choose one system that connects to you naturally. Truth is that if you have passion for something, getting the skill will be easy.
Then get a coach, a good one that you can follow. Am sure you can find a good coach on this great forum to follow. Lastly be determine never to quit until you see result.

As someone whos worked in SEO for a long time, this is the best advice ive seen on this thread

I buy a product, I learn all the information, I think of a million reasons for why the method wont work and then don't implement it because most methods require a further investment so I buy another method. I've been chasing the golden nugget or the 'Cookie that makes you lose weight.' It doesn't exist.
I've read all comments so far and Godfrey Linnex's answer is one of I agree totaly. And your answer confirmed that could really be one of solutions. The problem is just your atitude regarding your success. Dono if it's caused by mistakes you made or failings or whatever but please try change that. First of all, you didn't wasted 3.000 as someone said. You invested and you bought experience you have already. Another thing is, road to success is in 99% of cases full with wrong choices, dissapointments, failings, etc. But that just make you closer to goal if you have set the goal up. And you did set it up, 100/day. In writing your blog, you can implement some of knowledge you already picked up during the road, like SEO, internet marketing, etc. You could write articles for clients, that way you can earn 100/day easiely. Althought not imidiately, but after a year or two maybe. Just stick to the plan, make small changes ocasionaly but don't quit and start over totaly in other direction.

If you've been at it at 4 years, then sorry mate, but you're either not made for this or you're taking advice from the wrong people.

You mention having spent a lot of money but on what? Ebooks and courses. For that money you could have bought a site on Flippa and just worked on that.

What have you actually done? What have you actually tried for several months and produced?

Did you make a niche site writing great content?

Did you focus on creating just one profitable Facebook ads campaign?

Don't spend your time here on WF, go find professional blogs and learn.

I can and will vouch for these:

Niche Pursuits - Find Business Ideas, Niche Websites, and much more! - Niche Sites Guide
StackThatMoney Affiliate Marketing Forum - $100 month forum, but the real deal
Learn To Build Long Term Web Properties - Authority Hacker - Authority sites

I have made much more than $100 a day and I've had days with much less. Consider though, maybe you don't want to do this as a business and just like the idea of it? That's why you buy all those products?

Sometimes, the dream of making something happen sustains a person in the hardest time but the actual work required is just to much.

As for what you said, that same money could easily be invested offline too in a local business (as a partner) or franchise. It's not all about selling online. If someone really wanted, they could set up a services business offline with that money.

It can be hard starting out. For me the biggest issue was getting stuck in learning mode. I had Marketing ADD. I would jump on the next shinny course or software but never actually take the time to do anything.

My advice to you is to find something you are passionate about and start a blog, Facebook fan page and twitter account. Just start blogging and have that update your Facebook fan page and twitter accounts.

Start building a optin email list and create products or find affiliate offers related to you site. The more you put yourself into you blog, the more people will like and trust you. That way they will be more receptive to your offers.

The more unique your content the better it will rank on the search engine.

The get rich quick methods may work for a while, but if you set out to help as many people as you can solve their problems and get what they need, the money will take care of itself.

The two best methods I use to make well over $100 per day are Adsense niche sites and email marketing with my own products and affiliate products.

Adsense is still a big money-maker and is one of the easiest because all you have to do is build sites, create articles, and the visitors simply click on your ads. It's a numbers game. If you follow any course worth its weight you can't fail. But you have to stick with it and continue building out sites to at least 15 articles, preferrably 25 articles and more, sometimes, depending on your competition.

By contrast, it's a lot harder work to place an affiliate marketing site high in the search engines and to get someone to purchase a $29 to $47 dollar product for a 50-75% commission. It can be very lucrative but it's not for the faint of heart.

List building is as simple as using your expertise in a profitable niche to help other people by providing true value to them. You can buy solo ads if you want to make it easy, send them to a squeeze page, and build a relationship with them and sell them products through follow-up and broadcast emails. You don't even need a website for this! Many people use Aweber, which includes free hosting for your squeeze page. I don't think there's anything easier than that.

The secret is to find something you like, and stick with it until you start making money. There's no reason why you can't do it if many others are. The biggest reason would-be Internet marketers fail is they lack focus and they don't finish what they start.

I would have to agree it is possible. Ive only been online for around 6 months but this month I have finally started seeing results, I have monthly residual now of $50 and with some upsells I made $67 in one day(which isn't too far off the $100 mark) !So I have no doubt that I will achieve that goal soon

Anything under $1000 a day profit for me is a bad day nowadays, but I can tell you it took time, little sleep, and money burned. I also lost about $3k-$4k before it started turning around, but all that money was toward one thing I got really good at. Like most people have told you, focus on one thing and master it, or you'll keep losing.

I would lay money that every single one of those things you "failed" at, someone else is making a killing with. Your first failure at a method means it doesn't work and on to the next, their first failure at something is just the beginning.

It is doable. At the very least you can sell articles to make that amount. You could also purchase advertising and test out different offers. I am sure you will find a winner and then you can scale the method up to possibly beyond $100 a day.

Platitudes, admonitions, etc. will get you nowhere. This business, like any other, requires skills. The most basic skill needed is communication. The foundation to that skill is a recognition of who you are in the communication process. For the purpose of clarity, I'll use two terms. 1) Director 2) Director In Training. After 30+ years in network marketing, my posture to a new prospect is ALWAYS Director In Training. To one of my affiliates, I'm always a Director. The language and posture in each case is entirely different.

Space limitations prohibit getting into great detail. If you feel more info would be beneficial, you can contact me through The Warrior Forum.

If I may add something of my experience, I'd like to quote the book that gave me the inspiration to become a web entrepreneur. It's from the Rich Dad Poor Dad (good reading anyway) book I found for 1$ in a charity shop. From memory it says:
"Poor people are selfish. If Riches are rich, that's because they brought to the other what they needed."
And that's the key of financial success : Bring people what they need. People are willing to part with their money if in counterpart they got what they need.
identify a need, offer a solution/product/service that fills this need and start cashing it out.
I've seen many people starting a blog, a website, a store, ... only to do what they want, what they love or what they think may work. But that was not what people needed. And then they went broke.
In order to know what people need, you only have to listen. On the web it's replaced by read. Read on forums, on comments, on FB pages, it's full of what people do need.
Just by reading this topic I can develop a product named "what to do in order to get $100 a day" and bang, all the readers of this topic are in my target.
From your experience you may also consider writing an eBook named "What not to do in order to succeed in your quest to make $100 a day as a Web Entrepreneur", sell it for $100 and the first line could be "you shouldn't have bought this book at first" ;-)
Many very goods answers in this line can be summarized down to "find the need" - another way of saying "smells what sells".
And of course, doing analysis forever won't help. Just do it.
I started in August and now I'm doing $50+ per month on AM average, on a growing trend.

It is possible if you have the promotion skills. For example: Work with a logo designer and make him your business partner. You take the order and outsource the work to him. Client pays you and you pay a part of the amount to him, He designs it for you. People pay $200 - $400 for a logo design which offers multiple concepts and revisions. I'm a professional logo designer. You can partner with people like me. Not just graphic designing, you can partner with developers, SEO specialists, content writers etc.

Affiliate marketing is great, but promote only those products or services that you are currently using. For example, I use A small Orange's hosting and when I recommend I get more sales because people know that I'm using it so it has to be good.

Everyone who fail in IM has the same story. If you don't have consistency, you will fail.

    Choose a niche.
Choose easy to target profitable keywords in that niche.
Build a site around it and add 5-6 articles every week.
Build a list using the traffic.
Build a relationship with them and send offers occasionally.

There so many suggestions in this thread for you, choose only one and go ahead. You can't go in two directions at the same time.

yes you can make 100$ a day for that you need at least 8,000 taffic to your affiliate marketing site.

You have to make a review site for different ecommerce site for any niche you want.

Then go to amazon.com or any big ecommerce giant site and register yours self as a affiliate then they will provide you with referal links and banners. paste that banner codes into your review site which you made..
You can also write releavant content about a particluar product into your site,
Suppose you know alot of about different fashionable trousers . So you can write artciles about diferent types of trousers available out there... and give your affiliate links in between the content which should directly land to that product page into amazon.com site.
Or You can generate tons off traffic with some bulk sms marketing softwares with images of products as you can get whatsapp bulk marketing software and send tons of whatsapp bulk sms to people with.
If You need any help about bulk sms marketing free of cost then as me here I will reply with fruitfull answers.

I totally agree with what Rory Singh and Pedro Lopes had to say.
You need a work plan and the focus to implement it. (I'm having difficulty implementing this myself!).
So many new concepts are coming everyday that it becomes pretty difficult to remain focussed. But we need to overcome this at any cost.
Secondly, getting a good mentor/coach can be a game changer and has worked out so well for so many marketers.

    The problem is......
Being too busy to enjoy earnings is the only thing, I noticed.

    The solution is.......
    Be cool.
    Relax
    Take a break
Give it a try for, which seems legitimate (Test the method for confirmation)
If you are satisfied, stick to it.
    Otherwise, try something else.

I am not able to understand why people don't believe live proofs & run after things, which don't opt for them.

Let me tell you a little more....
I too tried a lot & I never failed, but not successfully earned a decent income from them.

    For instance,
I tried Fiverr, a year ago.
( I didn't concentrate seriously, just checked myself, if I could earn from Fiverr or not)

    I made $36.
    It's OK for me.
Because it's not my cup of tea (Then).
I will definitely concentrate on Fiverr in the future, after I get enough qualification for it.
I am not eligible for now, I believe.

Earning $36 doesn't mean that "It works for me".
But I can say, "It works for all", who are really interested in & serious about.

I have to enjoy, whatever I am doing, irrespective of earnings.

    Now,
    It's over to you.

    Share your thoughts too.

I would suggest that Daniel Evans is a guy you want to investigate if you want more information, but that's only my own opinion. Ultimately, the most important thing is just to take action and don't stop.

  • Let me chime in and say I have definitely been there. I have done and tried and wasted 10 times more than you have. I used to make around $40+/day on average, and growing, with Adsense until Google blew that up. Now I'm trying to get back to that and more but I haven't given up. I've made over $20k online but spent 3x that much trying.

That being said, there's all kinds of ways you can make $100/day if you're willing. I'm not going to repeat whats already been said but let me add some that weren't mentioned that are also options: You can complete surveys and make that much, become a mystery shopper, this was mentioned but there are several places that will pay you to write articles, and you can even be an online juror and review cases (something I am looking into), at a site called jurytest.net. Granted, most of these wont get you $100/day but its a start to make a few hundred more a month at the very least, which is better than no success at all for the money you are spending.

Absolutely, it's possible. But, you need to be willing to work hard and to to be committed. Instead of jumping into many things at one, choose one market/topic and then stick to it until you get good at it and then go for another market/topic if you are willing to explore more. There are many resources, you just need utilize them properly. Have a clear vision on what you want to accomplish, set a goal, get to work and be committed.

I think the quickest way is to create your own niche infoproduct, build a list and eventually sell both that product to them, but also related products via affiliate programs.

    1. Opt-In (Give Freebie)
    2. Send amazing emails to them (Build Trust/Loyalty)
    3. Promote Your Product and Affiliate Products.

KISS Method...Keep Things Simple Stupid. Focus, focus, focus!

    example.

you prober read something like a child at 14 earning $200 dollars a day, and showing there success on line and your thinking am trying so hard and getting nothing no money just spending, but a child sitting there get £200 a day, not everybody will succeed even if it put the information on there lap sorry children think in a different way there brilliant at see the money fast and rehash projects very quick ...

you need a niche that you like, like a Hobie your into, then create a website, then add affiliates to the niche. (that a grate start.)

Dont get addicted to the automated tool you see advertised and what there power does, you need to do it all manually then you understand the power of automation promise.

im is not easy, ill say it again, im is not easy , you need to be a very focused person and be able to drop projects, and restart new projects, and dont care or get dissatisfied as a im.or depressed.

Yes you can make $100 a day online. I see your problem already. You've tried so many things.

I guarantee if you committed those 4 years to one of those business models, you would've made a thread about your success instead of your lack of success. Out of all the business models you named (ebooks, affiliate marketing, Ebay, Fiverr, Social traffic, SEO, CPA, POF, Product creation, Amazon affiliation, Coaching programs, Membership websites, PLR,) which one did you have the most success with?

If you had no success with any of those business models then I highly doubt you committed to anyone of those business models for at least 6 months.

My recommendation is to choose one of the business models right now and mark on your calendar that starting today you will commit to learning and applying what you learn for the next 6 months. 6 months may sound like a long time, but if you're truly focused, you will get some results before 6 months.

The #1 thing about working online is you can't be afraid to take risks and make sacrifices. You have to be fearless and bold to be successful.

I also recommend finding a mentor. Someone who will actually help guide you in the right direction. You've spent 4 years working online, you've invested $3,000 and only made $4. You definitely need some guidance.

    Good luck!

Yes... it is very possible to earn $100 a day online.. and much more than that.

    Is it easy ? No.

Can most people achieve that level ? Probably not.

You have to be persistent and learn from your failures. The same way Edison did when he was perfecting the light bulb (and his many other inventions).

List building is probably the best / easiest way for most people to reach the 100 bucks a day goal. Having said that, there are many things to learn about building a list, promoting to your list, providing value to your list, gaining their trust, etc. etc.

Keep learning what you need to learn, right here on the WF.

  • Wow so many replies, I do not have the time to go through them all. I'll just give my honest advice...
The most i've made online in a single day so far was $843.77... that being said have I done it consistently yet? NO. There are days where I make NOTHING (far too many than I'd like to admit) If I were to average everything out I think at this point my daily income is about $125 give or take.

You suffer from what I did, and still do to an extent... you see so many ways to make money but you are looking for the FASTEST and EASIEST one or even worse... the FASTEST/EASIEST in the same method... do not be fooled they are two completely different things.

The Fastest way is NOT the easiest and the easiest is not the fastest.

Focus on building a solid foundation (website, autoresponder, squeeze page)
once you have those in place CREATE a product... this is the EASIEST way I know of to make money online. If you truly have all those products that you claim then you already have TONS more knowledge than most people trying to make money online right now. You have no results yet so I wouldn't suggest teaching anyone how to make money online, but you could certainly teach them what NOT to do.

Other than that my #1 suggestion is always to head over to youtube set up some good affiliate videos with your affiliate link and rank them... 1 out of 10 videos is usually a money maker.

Focus on one method and IMPLEMENT it. The results will come.

    Hi

I read your post with baited breathe because I had done some of the same things. I had to learn patience and attitude adjustment for myself. I agree with some of the post and that say stick with one method. I had to learn how to "market" myself and the one method I chose to focus on. And with that method do my research. I look up experts, mentors, YouTube videos of other doing what I want to do and how they found success. If your like me I needed someone to take me by the hand and show me step by step. With patience they came. Wishing you much success.

In my 5 years of internet marketing, there were days i made over $200 a day or nothing. I am still trying new ways to make money now and never would i give up. If you do not wish to get too technical - like creating a website, try youtube first and monetize your videos. And then gradually, you could link to your blog or some page where you would make a little more or a lot more. In fact, i think youtube is the easiest to get anyone to begin making money online before exploring other methods.

It is very possible to make $100 per day if you invest more time and money in your online business. More time such as creating more content (spend too much time), more money because you will have to invest to outsource or to drive traffic to your website. That's the formula, time and money!

Hi mate, I am giving you some honest ideas :

    1) You can join to job marketplaces like freelancer.com and others, and can earn by completing jobs.

    2) You can join to Fiverr.com and can earn by providing things based on your experience.

    3) Affiliate Marketing can be tough, but you can try, if you try in proper way, I think you will be able to make good profit here.

I don't know if I'm fully qualified to answer your question, as I DON'T
make $100 per day online, but have had many $100 days

Is it possible? Absolutely and there are certainly a few of the more
experienced IMs on this forum who can testify to that.

One of the most important things for anyone on their IM journey is time.
You have to give yourself every chance through trial and error and become
one of the 10% who actually make a decent living from their online activities. I
personally think that most people fail because they get bogged down with too
much stuff and get in to that information overload state, get frustrated, lose
        confidence and quit.

GIVE yourself the time to create something which people want, as that's the
crucial part. There has to be a demand for your product/service and you always
aim to feed a hungry market. Try to focus on areas which are working well making
any necessary tweaks and eliminate things which AREN'T working.

Things which are usual could include :-

        1. Promoting affiliate products like Amazon and Clickbank
        2. Learning about HTML web design (free YT videos)
        3. Creating your own digital products for sale (PDF eBooks)
        4. Using freelancing sites for buying and selling
        5. Building an email list which is TARGETED

At the beginning doing things like affiliation work is great and making a few
commissions give you a boost in confidence, however, your long term goal
should be in building a large and targeted email list and having a relationship
with your subscribers. This is were the real money is made and how people
can tap in to large amounts which they would never be able to make working
for an employer. The beauty about a list is that, it not reliant on Google and their
continuous algorithmic changes which effects keyword rankings and traffic
        .

Like many people have said, try to master one method of internet marketing until you see results. It might be possible that you jumped around all of these methods which each take their own significant time to master.

I started with affiliate marketing and paid ppc and stuck with that for about one year and stuck with it and am currently seeing results. After you have mastered one method, then you can broaden your skills and start aiming higher, but for now focus on one thing and so not give up.

Seeing results takes a lot of time but the key is not to get discouraged.

The question is stupid, "Is it possible to make xxx$ per day online"

Yes, of course it's possible. Otherwise there would be no warriorforum, no adsense, no affiliate marketing, no domains, no google no nothing.

Just some methods that come to mind:
    - list building
    - affiliate marketing
    - product creation
    - adsense, ppc, ppv

There is not one method that "allows" you to make XXX $ per day. Every method can make you thousands (!) a day, IF you are consistent, persistent and put in lots of work.

So yes, it IS possible to make 100$ a day online. And affiliate marketing is and always will be a "method" that makes ALOT of people rich online.

Outline a plan for the next 2-3 weeks and stick to it, while tweaking your strategy as you go along. Remember, you will never make $100 overnight. The above methods are just some TOOLS, but to use them effectively will require your CREATIVITY ...

The most important thing that almost every reply in this thread is missing : Having a good product or service to sell. No point building lists, blogs, websites, funnels etc. if you have nothing to offer. If you're going the affiliate route, make sure it's a product worth promoting with a high demand (although I'm not sure many exist otherwise they wouldn't need affiliates to sell them).

As a few have said, find something that people need (want to buy) and create a solution (product/ service) for it. Once you have something worth selling, the rest will come easy. The internet is full of people looking to become millionaires, but have nothing to offer.

Can you imagine if you just put up a sales letter or video sales letter, EVERYDAY for the next 30 days and then drove traffic to each one of those offers?

You'd have 30 "salesmen" working for you tirelessly, each and every day.

    They don't call in sick.

They don't ask for time off.

They don't even need to go on vacation.

If these salemen were trained well, spoke to the right prospects, cured the right bleeding neck problem and also had all of the built in rebuttals to handle any objection that might come there way ALL handled and accounted for...do you think they'd make you SOME sales?

Do you think they could make you some sales if EACH of those salemen were offering $100 offers?

The process really is simple (different from easy):

    1. Starving or Thirsty Target Market
    2. A compelling and irresistible offer
    3. A buy button

Do it all over again....and again.

Add some upsells, maybe recommend a cross sale or two and ask people to tell their friends about it if they liked it.

Stick with this (or any ONE program) and you'll see the money over time.

A seed doesn't turn into a tree in a day.

No matter how much you want it to hurry up an get here, it takes at least 9 months for a baby to develop in the womb.

It always takes the Earth a year 365 days to spin around the sun...etc.

The point is...things take time...but with consistent effort...it happens.

I hope this was helpful and best of luck to you.

You said you want to create your own website, so thats a step in the right direction for sure. Keep writing content and implement the tips you find on here step by step. Increase your traffic, do SEO and eventually watch those sales come in. Good Luck!

Yes it's possible to make $100 online or more if you have the right systems in place.

The same way you make $1 online is the same way you make $100+ online.

With the right systems in place you can quickly scale and start to see your income increase as a result.

The magical recipe to make money online is very simple: you need to work hard and steadily in the business that you started.

You'll only see solid results after months or even years working focused on any method you try.

100 dollars a day. Definitely possible but you need to do a lot of testing and find out which one really works.

    Hey everyone,

Wow it's been half a year since I started this thread, thank you so much to everyone who gave me advice and offered me help. I am proud and pleased to report that I've made it!!!...
I just had my first $100 day!!!!
I expect to slowly work my way up to $200 through scaling... And eventually outsource a lot of my work.

I learned a lot from all of you, the most prominent being that in order to succeed you need to depart from the mindset that caused you to fail. Einsteins definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Don't know if anyone is ever gonna come back to this thread but to all the newbies, if I can do it, you can too, don't give up. It doesn't have to take you 4 years like it took me.

Thank you guys, you changed my life

    For me, it was computers.

A cliche but relevant in your case...sunrays when focussed on one object for a considerable period of time make the object burn..you can make $100 a day in any business. Point is how badly you want it and how much effort dedication and commitment you are ready to put over that. I am sure many people would have already advised you...pick one business and dont quit, I am sayin it again because repetition of things instills it in one's mind. So select one business which has the potential to give you lifelong returns and then giv it your all till you start seeing success.

    Hi,

The methods that you have mentioned all work very well. But you cannot do them together at the same time to earn money online (especially in the beginning). You need to focus on only one method and learn from your failures. I know when I started to make websites for Adsense and there was not luck with my first 4-5 websites. But i did not quit because I knew other people were earning money from Adsense.

I tried to learn better methods and produced high quality websites. Then one of my websites started earning me 2-3 USD per day. That was a great achievement for me and I worked more. I was successful to earn $200-$300 per day from one of my Adsense websites (for few months).

My suggestion again: Focus on one method and do it properly. You WILL see results.

    Good Luck

Find out what problems people have and solve them. The more people you help with your solution, the more money you make. It's simple like that.

The methods you've learned the past 4 years are just tools you can use to solve people's problems.

Is that all you've spent so far? LOL. I know many others in here, myself included, can relate to spending 10 times that trying to "make it" online.

No disrespect to HJdev, but I hate responses like this. This was the same kind of mess that was spewn out to me when I was first starting in IM over 12 years ago. Its common sense but it says absolutely nothing about HOW to do this, and is completely worthless in my opinion. The OP has heard the same thing 1000 times already, I'm sure. I would never give a newbie or anyone struggling online in their first couple of years this kind of advice - they can read a book instead. I don't know why people think they are giving good advice by regurgitating this same line to people over and over again. Its also not that simple either. If it was, no one would be having any problems at all making money online.

    Hey man,

I feel you. It's definitely possible. I have made 2 million dollars online in the last 3 years. And Im not a web whizz or some kind of technology or marketing expert, Im just a regular guy that use to HATE his job and life.

Prior to making some real money, I spent about 5 years making no money to $5 a day online (I can still remember one day back in 2009 when I made $6 on Adsence, that was a high day for me). I was incredibly frustrated and almost gave up. What changed everything for me was when I got a coach. Within three months of following his program I was at $1500+ a month, and I then left my last job (that was in 2012).

My coach was Tristan Bull, he still helps people I believe. The most important things to learn are the fundamentals of content marketing, list building, copywriting and building products that people want (i.e. survey your customers). Nowadays instead of having a formal coach I take a lot of advice from various experts on clarity.fm

My best advice is save a little money and find yourself a good coach you connect with, someone that's going to mentor you and offer you the advice you need when you need it.

Note that as you grow your business, even if you make $100 a day a lot of that will go into your overheads (services you use, software, computer equipment, accounting and administrative fees, etc).

Until recently my salary was less than $2k per month even though the company was making some money, you got to reinvest a lot of it to keep growing. If you are making $100 a day, thats $3000 a month so I would recommend you take home $1200 more or less and reinvest the rest in growing your business.

So thats something to keep in mind too.. Be realistic about how much you take home at the end of the month, and try not to starve your business. I was still working when my internet business started to grow, and i would invest up to 50% of my salary unto it. Money makes money.

Hope this helps, whatever happens don't stop and keep grinding, you'll make it. I can feel from your thread that you have the right mindset, which is already a great start.

    Cheers,
    Bertrand

For me it's impossible. I see opportunity everywhere, that's my major problem. It's not oh how to make money, it's oh why aren't their enough hours in the day. It's really frustrating because even though i know i should be focusing on one or two things max... it's like a drug!
I get excited about something every 2 days! I know I'll get there but it's frustrating that with all the warnings i see myself falling into the same traps a lot of people have done.

Some very good advice in the initial post. I would have to say that the part about avoiding failure is one of the best. In most cases, there are many failures on the road to success. I like to say there are no mistakes in life -- only lessons. It's not a matter of if you will fail but when. It's how you react to that failure that matters.

This is very achievable even in those methods you say you have tried fiverr and all.
Look for people who are already successful in a niche you are interested in and ask them to mentor you, concentrate on one or two things at a time and allow enough time to become successful i those.

As a martial artist I never liked the word failure. Failure to me is refusing to get back up after getting knocked on my okole (Hawaiian for you know what) by an opponent. As long as I get back up I haven't failed.
