What are you trying to do?

Survey Monkey is a real easy method of finding out about your customers ... so you could combine this with a landing page and collect emails that way.

What are you trying to do?

I want there to be a survey, something that has a headline like: "Do You Have What It Takes To _____? Take The Survey Below..."

Then, they fill out the survey, it seems pretty harmless.

Then, they get to the end and have to submit their name and email in order to receive results (while being added to my autoresponder sequence nsync)

I want it to be something I can embed into my site. Whether it be in the sidebar, the middle of the page, etc.

Hi Ishboo ,

Interesting, I was just thinking about building a survey software but I was wondering if there is market for it.

How much would you be willing to pay for a software like that? I am not trying to sell you software, just trying to get an idea how much potential costumers might pay for it.

I guess I am conducting a survey with you.

If it does what I said, for the purpose of what I said, then $30. Outside of this forum, I'd pay more. Depends on if it is a WP-Plugin or server side.

$29.95 seems good for a WP Plugin that is kept up-to-date with the WP system. Main purpose is for list building tho, not for survey taking. I could care less about the survey itself, accept to get people to qualify themselves as prospects without knowing it upfront.

Read my post above and you'll see exactly what I wish it to do.

I may go ahead and pay a developer to do this for me. Although, there seems to be a lot of other software out there that does what I want mine to do.

Just thought I'd support a Warrior if there was anyone willing to chime in. I guess not.

You could accomplish what you are trying to do with a simple web page from Fiverr or elance. It does not sound like you are looking to use the results and your aim is more of an escalating commitment sequence to get the visitor to provide their email at the end of the "survey."

You're right, but I wish you have a WP Plugin. I want to put it within my current wordpress setup. No separate web pages outside of my current setup. WHY? I want to test. The sidebar, the center of the screen, in a pop-up, footer ads, header ads, above the post, between a post, etc.

Soooo, if anyone knows of a *WordPress Survey Plugin* that integrates with popular email/autoresponder/list management systems, let me know. Even a Wp Quiz Plugin might work and do the same thing?

Yes, something similar would be wonderful. But, I think people hesitate to complete surveys without incentives. Also, for email address collections, there are better methods.

Not a WP plugin, but I've used this free, open source software in the past. LimeSurvey - the free and open source survey software tool! (not an affiliate link) You can usually install it via Fantastico if you have it.

I have bought this one - Survey Snatcher from Veit Schenk:

It is quite nifty that you can segment your list based on the answers.

The downside is that you want a universal survey tool is is not so fitting because it only supports giving one answer to a question (e.g. no 'Select top three things you like').

Thank you Alex. You're one of only two people who've really answered my question with something I can look at

I know of all of the free plugins, but I wanted something paid. I don't trust free stuff. Free stuff usually gets shut down because devs don't want to keep up with wordpress. Unless they have a paid option, then that's cool.
