Is there an affiliate marketplace that segments products by demographics?

Happy Saturday guys! I have a few thousand young professionals on an email list from a careers site and I'm struggling to find appropriate affiliate products I can promote to the list.

Any ideas? Is there an affiliate marketplace site that segments products by demographic?

I've briefly looked at Clickbank & JVzoo but they seem to be filled with IM products of debatable quality. I'd like to share products with the people on this list that will genuinely help them and offer great value.

Any suggestions?

Not that I'm aware of but here's some things you can try out...

    1. Facebook Audience Insights:
If the product owner / brand / product is big enough and they have a Facebook page, then try using the Facebook insights tool and that will help you with your demographics.

    2. Contact The Product Owners:
Ask them if they have surveyed their list to get an insight of what they need help with etc...

    3. Survey Your Own List:
Simply ask them what they're struggling with and if you were to buy a ton of products and review them, would they be interested?

I've always thought that ClickBank does, but I see - reading your question - that it depends entirely on what you mean by "demographic"!

JVZoo, perhaps, yes. That's not my experience of ClickBank at all: there are tens of thousands of vendors with products there in hundreds of different niches, all of which are listed/identifiable under headings and sub-headings via the "Marketplace advanced search" function.

It's certainly pretty difficult to imagine that you're going to find more choice anywhere other than ClickBank? But maybe whatever you select doesn't all have to come from one place, anyway? (That's one of the joys of affiliate marketing: there's enormous flexibility over product-selection.)

My main concern, reading your post above, is that a list of "few thousand young professionals" doesn't sound very precisely-targeted at all, to me.

Thanks both for your comments. This list is filled with people who signed up for 'career tips' on a site that teaches people how to succeed in interviews. The site's visitors are mostly 20-28 years old and employed by big corporate companies.

It's quite a broad niche (more of a horizontal one than a vertical one, if you know what I mean...?) because these people work across all industries. The only common thread they all share is a desire to progress in their careers. So far I've struggled to find products they'd be interested in as 'careers' isn't an especially lucrative niche...

Maybe I need to start digging deeper into Clickbank to find suitable offers? Does anyone have any other suggestions for promoting to this demographic?

Have you considered looking on YouTube? There will be plenty of career advice channels.Take a look at their channels, see which videos have a lot of views and which videos have a lot of responses (comments) and you could structure a funnel process from there.

If you're thinking long term, then you'll want to consider making these videos yourself, putting your stamp on them and focus on branding. Build authority and they'll be more open to the idea of what services an products you're recommending to them. If it helps them get a step closer to what they're looking for, then some will commit.

Then in time... try and gain testimonials from them. Your age bracket isn't an easy one, but if you can leverage testimonials from those you're helping, this will help you leverage whatever it is you're trying to achieve.
