Discount or Cashback?

Discount or Cashback.

In principle it is the same, but the idea is different.

So what convert better in your experience?

A discount before they buy it, or cashback after they bought it?

I would rather have a discount right off the price.

it's not the same really. Discount is applied immediately. Normally cash back implies that you have to do something to get the cashback at a later stage.

I do think you should apply both discount before buying and money back after buying if the product was not that good

Cashback is something different as refund.

A cashback is something that is often used by big companies. They let you buy something in a store and after they send you some % back as thank you.

What you mean is a refund.

It really depends most shoppers try to take the most our the two worlds ( discounts + cashback ).

What are you trying to offer discount / cashback on ? is it physical item ? online product, how would the discount or the rebate being offered, and what the delivery process will looks like. These are all factors shall be considered in the process

    Tried it both ways.

In terms of IM.... discount works best in my markets.

Instant gratification is key when selling digital products and the same can be said for the value add (discount). Peoe want "it" NOW..... and that can't be done with a rebate.

I'd suggest using a discount. If you have any bonuses you can also include them.
