Recruiting affiliates

Hi guys,

I am new in Affiliate marketing and in IM in general, so have some newbies problems.
I am working for art magazine and looking for affiliates in order to attract more galleries.
It's B2B, and till so far, almost every single affiliate network didn't approve our application cause the lack of traffic.

Other option is in-house, we have Voluum, but how to find affiliates and how flow should look like?

Any feedback would be helpful.

Boban

Sounds to me like you should approach it on a more 1-on-1 level. Start with a list of your top 10 galleries you'd like to land as affiliates and pursue them as if you were a sales rep. I'd try things like direct mail, phone calls, last of all... an email.

Thank you Dus, will start contact galleries. Although galleries are our target group so looks like it can be quite contradictory...

Once you can clearly demonstrate a reasonable EPC then affiliates will line up to promote your offer.
We offer galleries advertisement on our website in several ways, starting from 90e to 1000e.
Affiliate should get about 25% on every sale.
We are just starting with sales, as well with affiliate marketing, so we cannot calculate EPC yet.

When looking at affiliates you need to see if your offer is attractive to them

Most top affiliates use PPC traffic therefore it is very important for them to know the Earnings Per Click (EPC) of your offer,

An Affiliate will not spend money on clicks if the offer does not convert and pay well enough to make a profit and scale up.

    Your post wasn't very clear:

    What is the EPC?

Once you can clearly demonstrate a reasonable EPC then affiliates will line up to promote your offer.
